Ok i ran 3d mark and i got P7865 on a xfx 780i 1 9800 GTX+ with my cpu @

4.4 ghz fsb 1850
Ram 1066
and GPU at 810 ghz adn GPU ram at 1200 MHZ or 2400 MHZ

Is this a normal score of type of set up .

Devil ya CPU score is great, the GPU score has brought the bench down but hey great score anywayz
My advice is to run the mark a few times to get a few scores.......also OC the GTX speed a bit, that will bring ya GPU score up a bit. I use EVGA Precision GPU tuner its good and easy to use.

Looks low to me m8 espec witht he CPU OC so high...can u post the Vantage score output so we can see the individual results? Will tell more from that. Just use mvsnap to select the score window and save as jpeg then upload it using 'host an image' button above.

I dont run vantage only 06 (cause i use xp) BUT MY O6 score last i checked was 26000 with cpu clocked @ 3.8ghz. Will have to try it @4.1ghz!

Yeah mutiny that GPU really brings the score down. Get yaself a GTX xxx and the GPU score will double and the bench will be closer to 20grand. Also there is no need for the OC on the CPU to be so high as there is def no bottleneck with the GPU setup to warrant it. May just be shortening the CPU life atm.

Will have a look , not to shure about this correct me if i am wrong .So if have a have a cpu score of 33608 i should get a g card that NON sli, just by its self shud be some where around 12000 - 10000 3d marks or so that when i run sli i will get 2.8 the preformance correct. The thing is that when i decode videos it tends to speed it up alot thats the only reason why i keep it like that. I'll test my cpu at 4.5 and see what the score is so that i knw what graphics card to get. I think that i am gonna have to wait for that gtx 395 to come out to get a score when i run my cpu at 4.5 ghz

Overclock your gpu a bit more, im not sure what clocks the + model comes with but there still should be a bit of room.

Ive got the 8800 GTS 512 which is the same thing.
I generally (depending on weather) have shaders at about 783
and memory at 1023

Na that is about as far as i can go on my gpu, before i start getting funny dots on my monitor dose ur score for your gpu need to be egual to the score that you get for your cpu. Going to wait for the price of core 2 DUO extreme's to drop in price and then get a GTX 395 and or GTX 280 or so, but dont the 8800 gts have a larger memory interface.

How come is ur CPU score so low dose it have somthing to with with physx been disabled. Yea its going to a while until any 1 manages to tops that score.

Yea mate did my vantage run without physx. Its unfair for people that have ATI cards that dont have physx. would be interesting to see what scores ill get with physx

Well here is my final scores guys!! I could go a bit higher with my CPU OCing but im playing it safe at 3.4ghz q6600 G0 stepping. The rest speaks for itself Im happy with these scores, I can just play crysis on Vhigh 2x AA res at 1680 x 1050 at 28 frames average.

And Cos I know ya think'n my single GTX260 score is low but im missing 3 or 4 extra GPUs unlike you

Cos asked for it... I ran it...honestly don't keep up with 3D Mark to know what is good scores/bad scores. I just use the program as a stability test.

When I ran that test...I had my i7 920 (for tulz) running at 2.8 GHz. I have had it up to 3.6 GHz, but I didn't like the constant heat (stilll was low compared to what it can run at, but I like it running around 29ºC)

I found out that Folding@Home was running when I ran 3dMark last night. Here are two screen caps of 3dMark scores whilst NOT running Folding@Home. First one is with Performance mode (1680x1050) and the second is High Mode (1680x1050)

Should get 4Ghz easy out of your i7 920. Can you post up you CPU revision which can be found with CPU-Z also mobo make and model and ram.

all i7's can be oc'd the same from wat iknwo. see my 950 cant be oc'd(depending the cooling) any higher then that of a 920 can it?

In some cases yes, it clockes higher than a 920 because its got 23x multiplier + turbo mode which then bumps it upto 24x. think the 920 is 21x and 22x with turbo.

I would think that if a 950 and 920 where water cooled they would probably get around the same overclock. but then again i could be wrong.
