Unfortunately 1 of my Dominator GT sticks are dead so i have to RMA them back to US

Not sure all up i would have to work it out but for the mobo, cou and ram came to 3.8K NZ dollar.
30" screen was 3k when i got in in Jan 2008

For H2O can be anywhere from 300-600 buks for a decent loop.

Parts here in NZ are expensive paid 1300for cpu 950 for mobo and $620 US for Ram cause it was only available at the Corsair online store so i had to get em from America.

Why didn't you water cool the GPUs as well? I have the same CPU cooler, using a Koolance Case (PC3-736) and have 2x285s water cooled.

Fps is around 50-80 running at 2560x1600 Very High Dx10. Might have to run a benchmark sometime.

i get the same fps in crysis on max all dx10 1680x1050 max aa as i do on absolute low. not that i notice with vsync anyway.

3 x SLI that would be sick, thats wat i was gonn go for but performance wise on Crysis (thats wat i bought my rig for) quad Sli was better( after research), might have to look into water cooling as i just have fans, but im not OC'ing im just running stock, hehe the same machine as mine less the ram and raptor gets 30900 on the benchy stock, wats yours do

look at the expressgate feature its fucking rediculous

yeah the ASUS P6T has that, it just doesn't have the onboard memory so you need to use the HD for the OS. It's still way faster than logging in normally. I tested it, it took about 10-15 sec for me. I'm sure it would take <5 with flash memory.

nah it's just a limited version of linux i think. I didn't use it for long because i installed win7 and it doesn't seem to work for win7 as of yet.

That bench just goes to show Crysis will never run at stupidly high frame rates. THREE GTX285's and it still barely cracks 60fps.

Sounds like u have 1 hell of a rig yourself.


idle temps vary depending on room temps but at the moment it is sitting at 26c and around 44-57 on load running benchmarks. During games i would not know, would have to monitor it.

Running triple rad at the front of the case. got some pics which i will see if i can find.

Hmm thats the same place i was thinking of setting up mine, i was just a little worried that it mite increase the case temp though. Is that a swiftech rad? Was going with the swiftech 360 but ended up ordering the Feser 120 triple exterme, has 2 more rows of cores.
May end up just mounting it on a stand outside the case.

Yea it does increase temps but hardly noticeable.
