GSC Game World announces S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 – the official sequel to best-selling game series – in development now. A completely new multi-platform technology developed by GSC will make the core of the game.
"After the official sales of the series exceeded 4 million copies worldwide, we had no doubts left to start creating a new big game in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe. This will be the next chapter of the mega-popular game players expect from us" - said Sergiy Grygorovych, CEO of GSC Game World.

I wonder if anyone will play its MP outside of countries formerly in the USSR.

a STALKER mmo (fan made) is also in the works apparently
STALKER 2 will be coming out eventually and on consoles.

and stalker has sold over 4 million copies. it is actually pretty popular, just not in your conventional cod / bf / tf2 circles.

I Lurve playing stalker when I take a break from Crysis it is a different game it's more umm..........how can i put it you have to think more than your usual FPS and different ways you interact with the cg's get's you different results GO THE FRO'
P.S. I have played the mp it's quite fun you can play different modes in that as well
