Interview with Cevat Yerli 8, Feb "In the second of our interviews with the key figures behind the next wave of firstperson shooters, we sit down with Crytek president and creative director, Cevat Yerli, to discuss bringing the PC series to console, embracing verticality and the challenges of programming AI for complex urban environments."

There was a bit of confusion over the source of the latest screenshots released. Which platform did they came from? PC? I think they were a mix. There was one 360 and the others were PC. But honestly, the PC version hasn’t been shown off yet at all. They were rendered out of PC but at console settings. The PC settings aren’t being disclosed at all right now. We haven’t made any screenshots yet that show the PC settings.

Haha, nice find. This probably is as much from Crytek as the shake weight thing.
That being said, I also want to get one lol.

Welcome to the Jackal Weapon Focus! In today's Weapon Focus we're introducing a new weapon to the Crysis universe. This fully automatic, 12 gauge assault shotgun takes a fast paced approach towards combat, delivering huge fire power at a phenomenal rate which will devastate anyone and anything in its path.
Jackal:
Designed from the ground up for military purposes by upstart company Bishop Ballistics, the Jackal is a heavy-duty combat shotgun in every sense of the term. While its competitors are based on civilian market models, the main concept behind the Jackal is accurate, low-recoil, rapid-fire delivery of 12 gauge shotgun rounds downrange in an urban combat zone.
Despite its expensive price tag, the Jackal is highly sought after by private military contractors and security personnel, who love it for its reliability, high rate of fire and optional high-capacity magazine. There is no target that can withstand a full magazine from the Jackal at point-blank range, and the sheer sound of a Jackal being fired nearby is enough to send adversaries running for cover.

I shouldn't have to force myself to enjoy a game.
On that note, I definately cancelled my preorder. All that means is I won't buy it on release, I may buy it at a future point in time. Modded servers may hasten my decision to purchase it.

I'm not sure that's quoting in a forum sense as it is just reposting their opinions while sort of mentioning who wrote it.

I agree, you shouldn't have to force yourself to enjoy a game. And you shouldn't be restricted to play in a way you hate, which is why I wasn't going to keep playing C2 when i took my first look at it. But what I meant after was, when you find theres more to it by giving it more of a shot, you might be someone who can have fun in it.

rofl at "this is xbox 360 version"....its the developer leaked version.....and im not to sure if downloading that is pirating....as that version would never be sold so just like the demo you wouldn't have to pay for it.....it is however illegal for the developer to leak it

I want crytek to have a positive outcome, but their quiet attitude from the start didn't help.
