Its been AEGIS since ive gamed, or done anything with a pc since my rig kinda breathed its last breath...
ive got an option to upgrade my PC from i7 920 to sandy bridge 2600k however i hear about ivy bridge being released late this year / early next, anyone think its worth holding off till then?...

as far as upgrading goes Virt on a personal level I'm happy with my i7 system if you wanted to mate you could upgrade until the cows come home it's not going to make a lot of difference unless your into folding,3D benching (3D mark 11) as far as gaming goes it will be years before any companies in the game production sector will catch up with the power the current sysrems can handle

i'm not upgrading and i have a 920....which can be oc'd to 4.2 because of My loverly cooler

but i know u have a crappy stepping so u cannot

i wouldn't because i know all the tech thats coming in the future....and crysis 2 runs atleast 1.5x better than crysis wars....so u dont need to upgrade to play it

yea the i7920 was good... until i pulled out my mobos capacitors in anger...

atm i dont have a PC - just a crappy laptop im working on here.
