I'm disappointed it's still so late they are releasing one.
I would have thought recent events would have inspired them to release one much earlier at least so they could get some feedback from their valuable pc community, at least hoping they consider it valuable.

Between those events and this demo, the demo would do potentially more damage to sales because its only 24 days before release meaning everyone will be playing the game they will pay for. If people don't like what they see they can't say 'it can still be fixed'.

And to anyone whos thinking 'what exactly do you think you will see you won't like given how much coverage we've recieved', playing the game is much different to reading about what's going to be in it.

LOL, the client's JB Hifi so it's one of the major clients, one we get paid well for if we do it fast and right. and major clients only come in every so often. stress leave for a week will mean i miss out on the majors for a long time. plus the rewards are great

guess ill have to wait till the next week or miss out if it doesnt go that long :/

Technically it'll be a second shot at playing it before it's release date.
That could have been avoided if a demo went up earlier.

Everything goes to console because it's a more casual market and easier to profit off of, what with a higher median price for the same games that may appear on pc as well as DLC content.

The PC market is also doing pretty well, it just has to deviate from the standard 'buy a game, get a finished product you paid for'

In the end, it's better off if PC gamers DO complain, instead of taking it up the arse like its okay we get console shit.

There was a 3d feature on the 360 demo don't know if it worked well tho, their should be one on the pc. Should be awesome.

An official Crytek press release was released earlier today announcing the Crysis 2 demo going multiplatform for the first time. On March 1st not only will there be a PC demo but it's also coming on 360! See below for the official press release:

"With only a month to go before the release of Crysis 2 – one of the most hotly anticipated games of 2011, EA and Crytek are pleased to confirm that a new Crysis 2 multiplayer demo for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system and PC is coming March 1. The PlayStation®3 demo is coming soon. Crysis 2’s dynamic multiplayer is built around the franchise’s signature Nanosuit, an advanced exoskeleton giving every player super powers that will allow them to be strong, be invisible and be fast on the battlefield.

Last month over 1.7 million players downloaded an early multiplayer demo on Xbox 360. Since then, Crytek has taken player feedback to help improve the experience even more.

All versions of the new demo will include two maps, “Skyline” and “Pier 17”, as well as two modes “Team Instant Action” and “Crash Site”.
