Blue screen death Empty
PostSubject: Blue screen death   Blue screen death EmptySun Sep 27, 2009 11:16 pm

last night I had a massive blue screen of death episode which would not let me get onto windows vista, I tried safe mode and used spyware and malware detectors and virus scanners and still couldn't get the fucking thing back up and running....

I woke this morning at the strangest time of 5.00 am and couldn't get back to sleep so I decided to have a look and see if I had a vista disc and I was damned lucky and got the computer going. I still can't work out what caused the computer to crash like that but windows error report said it was blue screen caused by driver error!?

Thank fuck for windows vista boot repair

I had BSOD pop'n up bloody willie nillie awhile back with all sorts of error codes each time, they all pointed to ram in some kind of way. Running the memory test yep one damaged stick of ram I only running 2 gigs of ram now. Comp hasn’t had one BSOD since. Spyware and virus scanners dont pick up bad ram, I run all sorts ...no luck too . I figured it was my overclocking that had done it lol so if yours is overclocked don’t rule out damaged ram!!!!!!! I reinstalled windows like 5 times lost everything and all that shit because of fucked ram. That’s my bad BSOD story. Hope this helps ya if that’s what it is.

nah Im pretty sure some crazy virus caused a bad/faulty driver that would try initialise at startup and cause it to crash before desktop. I had recently downloaded a plugin for fruity loops and switched to desktop and noticed porn icons on my desktop, as soon as I hit delete, it crashed.
