My G.I.Joe Review Empty
PostSubject: My G.I.Joe Review   My G.I.Joe Review EmptyThu Aug 06, 2009 2:49 pm

Let me just start of by saying this movie is completely chock-a-block full of action, blood, sweat and tears and an absolutely awesome fuckin’ movie.
Duke (Channing Tatum) and Ripcord (Marlon Wayans) are two special ops army soldiers on a secret mission to deliver nanobite nuclear warheads when something goes wrong. Their platoon is under attack and all is lost but these two boys (Typically because it’s in the script) are the only two left alive. They are then saved by what you call the G.I.JOES. Basically they must deliver the package without the evil people aka ‘The Cobras’ Anna (Sienna miller), Rex (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and McCullen(Christopher Eccleston) capturing it and destroying the world *Enter evil laugh here*
Personally I rather enjoyed this movie.

Channing Tatum played his character rather well but I feel he wasn’t strong enough for his part. Marlon Wayans of course was not a disappointment, (When has he ever been?) He was funny and a damn right down awesome person for his character.
The graphics were beautifully done and could not have been done any better. The suits they put on (That are basically the same as nano suits for crysis except without the invisibility) we’re absolutely amazing. I guess you could say... ‘Where do I get one?’

The movie was full of action packed sequences to stop the bad guys from doing what they do best... World domination. Car crashes, guns that shoot (What look like gauss), a few giggles and I guess alot of perve action with sienna miller and Rachel Nichols in the picture.

This movie is every guys dream and more AND If you’re looking for a year’s supply of action then you’ll get it in this 1hr 58 minute movie.
It doesn’t disappoint and it doesn’t go over the top. It’s sci-fi without the sigh.

8.5/10
