| Yeah I need help. I've been wondering for ages how so many of you guys get lots of kills with a very small amount of deaths (5-10). I always seem to have triple the average amount of deaths with my K/D often looking similar to the pic below from a game I just played. I usually do pretty good for kills when I'm not mucking around but my deaths are always insanely high. I dunno what I'm doing wrong cause I do the same sort of thing I see you guys do, just running around with scar and laser, but I always get shot from the sides, run over, sniped, run into clays or run into 2-3 enemies at once. Basically I'm just wondering how you guys get such large amount of kills with such low deaths without sniping. |

| I'm no expert, but you're possibly doing one of two things; getting too far into the battle and can't get out when you need to, or you're just not killing them quick enough and their buddy picks you off after you kill them. |

| Be attentive to your surroundings.
Find cover when taking shots for retreat. If your at low health
Don't superman it through places unless your plan is to kill 2-3 and risk the chance of death.
shoot as soon as u see someone. |

| SHINANIGANS YOUR HOT
Okay Ziah
Heres what you need to do
RUN AWAY!!!
Teach yourself to have a third sense about whats going on around you in the game, use headphones? no? then you should. you need the lesser parts of your mind to know when/where vehicles are so you know where you can and cant walk, just like in real life. Know where cars will go, espcially if they are hooning at a bunker, they will usually fly over a hill and land on top of the bunker, and they aren't too hard to dodge. Alot of people see a car coming at them and try to jump them with strength mode. While this is easy to do you may find that more often or not you cant do it simply because of lag on the driver's behalf WHICHISGAY.
Best way to stop getting shot from the sides - USE YOUR TEAMMATES. It doesnt matter if they arent working with you, you just work with them. Where the enemy will be able to get you from will be determined by where your teammates are and how aggressive or defensive they are. if you move out from a bunker and you move in a direction that puts you between two teammates, you'l probably be safer. Any enemy seeing this happen will have the default reaction of flanking and picking them off from the side. Sticking with teammates will also help when you run into multiple enemies. DONT STAY TOO CLOSE to your teammates because you'll piss them off!! Work with them at a moderate distance, aim to both support them and use them for cover.
SNIPED: this one is easy. Join the team napster or imbaladis is on.
CLAYMORES. Check your corners!! claymores will 90% of the time be in the places which have the highest kill rates, like the inner corners of bunkers and behind doors. Next will be places such as stairways and under bushes. The ones under the bushes are the hardest to see but also have a less likely chance of getting kills depending on where they are and what map it is and the enemies graphics. I raped you on RuinsPS three times in a row with claymores and thats exactly what i was going for (well not the same person but i wanted a good spread), because i put ONE in the corner of a bunker, Another outside the bunker entrance under a rose bush and another around the back in the thick scrub. If the enemy is looking for one type of claymore strategy they won't usually consider the others being used.
Most important thing is running away. If you think your actions are going to attract attention or your severely unsupported.. RUN AND HIDE. Relocate Relocate Relocate constantly. These guys pick the right times to enter battles and then run.
I'm probably not the best to give advice as i don't get the greatest KD's but from what ive learnt in Day of Defeat and from watching the pros on Crywars ive these are the things i've picked up on....
hope that helps!
But i'd never help hope >=( |

| Thanks trae, the problem I usually have with clays though is I don't have time to check the corners or really do any checking because most of the time I'm taking fire and I just run for cover (inside bunkers or buildings) usually, and use grenades to deter the enemy from comming at me while I recharge health. However that running away idea and staying back from the middle of the fight sounds like a good idea. Usually when I see something being captured or a few enemies I just charge in trying to kill them all which dosen't work that well lol. Especially with bunkers, I never run away from a bunker once I'm in its capture zone, I stay there till I die or its captured, and usually I get into multiway fights at bunkers. I guess I'll try being more sneaky instead of charging like a madman into all the hotzones and instead try to pick off enemies one at a time. |

But yeah I usually don't stick to the outsides of the map, I usually charge right into the hotzones because thats where the action is. When I hang back I don't get any kills lol. |

| Use the bunker cap warning to your advantage... once your contesting a zone the enemy know your somewhere but they dont know where, this gives you the advantage that they are panicing and you know where they are, meaning you get to make the first move. |

| read my thread https://clanftw.forumotion.net/general-discussion-f3/how-to-play-crysis-wars-t712.htmalso: i got that using only claymores and unmodified SMG Cos and Khmer came in late and i didnt see much of WingChun, probs avoiding him two things to note: i used clays in sneaky cheap places and not any really really good players were playing. your KD is affected by how many and whos playing. if more good players are on, expect it to be harder. move in and out of cover n hang back so you can get people and keep yourself alive, also practice aiming heres a game played last night with a few of the FTW guys and some TAG guys (who were all on charlies team then left) use of clays in clever proto and other spots, scar at range and from behind cover, finding cloaked people, good nade throws especially at people hiding on top of energy sites or behind cover, the sniper occasionally (but never sitting in one spot ever). i was constantly on the move and tried to avoid charlie directly, but get him at range, including an awesome sniper shot when he was on one energy site and i was behind the other in bushes at the ground level. just combine what you know, n try to keep a steady aim, then practice. thats how you begin. |

| zomg check out my cheap dirty high score! very dirty for combination of clays, bunker rape and getting shots in before others and a few tactics involving speed running to other side of places n stuff to get the jump on the enemy. also it wasnt really fair at the beginning i guess considering the other players skill but then trae n cos came in and bucket eventually, and my deaths went up a bit more as i got careless n cocky. DONT GET COCKY!! |

use the assault scope its the easiest way to get kills, just prone miles away from the enemy, zoom in with the scope and hold down that button while trying to track where the player is running, u will get shitloads of kills just by hanging back using the assault scope, its so fucking noob its not funny, but everyone uses it because ppl wud rather be alive then waiting to spawn. claymores are win, if u know where to place them, dont ask syler cuz he just steals other ppls places then claims them as his own. dont run through the middle of the maps, u will die, Wars is designed for ppl to be able to kill u quicker, by running through the middle of the map ur just leaving urself open to being shot by multi players being able to see u, use plenty of cover, run behind objects. spectate some of the good players to see where they are running through certain maps, yes this is piss boring, but u will improve by doing it, just look at syler and how much he has improved lately Ok thanks, I never really use claymores anymore though. Had some massive success when I Invented using them at energy sites on the stairways back in December, but it didn't take long for people to realise what I was up to so that didn't last for long and then I just removed em from my loadouts. |

| the problem is, when we get new ideas, we sometimes forget where we got them from and like to take them as our own. yes psychologists know this and ive learnt about it so dont say im wrong, but pretty much a shitload of places people think they 'invented' they pretty much stole from someone else. even if they saw it long ago, and no one used them, and then remembered to use them again after a while.
imo someone should challenge Wounded to a 'clays only' match where you can only use clays to kill. not me though cause well, it wouldnt be fair for him =P

yeah i i wont deny i used clays in spots at the proto, cause some of those spots are too good to not use aye? love how i only just set em down and BOOM i immediately start getting kills
if you place a claymore, then a mine on top of it (cant go the other way around) the mine hides a claymore is there, and usually people think 'lol what noob put a fuckin landmine here?'
easy kill, but only sometimes, people have caught on |
