| Okay heres the situation.
I have jsut recently built a beast of a machine and have everything that I need except a good quality keyboard. I am currently using a wireless generic Microsoft one which I got about 5 or so years ago. It's just starting to annoy me as some key presses aren't registering properly and other random things.
So I'm looking at getting a new keyboard. Currently I'm looking at getting the Razer Lycosa. The things that I like about it are the backlit keys, everykey can become a macro key, it looks good and it matches my Razer Lachesis mouse.
The other one that I was looking at was the Razer Tarantula + Battle dock light.
Does anyone have either of these keyboards? If so what is your opinion?
If you don't have one of these keyboards but have something else that you would recommend I'd like to hear about that as well.
I play mostly at night with the lights off so having backlit keys is something that it kind of has to have.

| Logitech G15 works a treat, especially with macro-able buttons and the 2 port USB hub on the back.
I reckon i'll go to the G19 with the full color LCD next. |

| Lol Quacks i wouldnt be surpried if you WERE Chopper lol. Nah Razer Lycosa is awesome, it is like the step up from plain keyboards, G15 is way too much features for me to handle, Lycosa is just right. In my opinion G15 for the people who love to have every feature available. Lycosa for people looking for a good keyboard. |

| Well I see we have 2 camps here. The Logitech G's and the Lycosa. My current keyboard has lasted at least 5 years so I would kind of except to get similar use out of one that costs twice what I paid for this one. It's just annoying when W and the up arrow don't always work.
@Clerk, my cousin (ie Frosty) has one of those.
@Core, I had seen the projector keyboard before but it think it could become a bit annoying with bugs flying around me at night. lol. THe other keyboard you could have put there is the one with the red panic button.
I think that I'll consider it more once Mr Rudd puts money into my account. New soundcard and keyboard here I come.
Thanks for your thoughts people. |

| Nah I haven't bought one yet, mainly because of monetory issues, however I should be coming into a little bit of money soon thanks to Mr. Rudd.
My cousin has the Cyborg keyboard so I can't really get one of those considering I've already bagged him out numerous times for it, but yeah each to their own. I think that I'll end up going with the Razer Lycosa simply for the aesthetics of keeping everything blue and black, but also because every key can be a macro and the anti-ghosting of the WASD cluster, although why you would be pressing any more than 3 of those at once is beyond me though. |

| G15 is a really good keyboard. Of all the features on it i've found the LCD screen to be the most handy. I've got all my temps listed on it and so i can monitor how my PCs handling the loads its being given during games and stress testing. The keyboard itself is also built pretty solid, mines taken a few nasty tumbles in its time and its still in tip top shape. Also the backlit keys are really handy when playing without lights on. |
