I don't think I would mind that game if I could avoid having to control AI for pretty much everything.

is it worth it Lith? I tried the SP ages ago and it ran shit.....

The game is fun, just like a more strategical bf2 and for the price you can't go wrong, right now the there is a mod which is awesome. We need a new game to all enjoy.

Yeah it's fun, you don't need to control heaps of AI unless you do the Campaign as SP, and even then it's easy once you know what button does what for the AI, in most cases all you really have to do it let the AI follow you if you don't wanna go really in depth with your tactics. If you play the Campaign as Co-Op on the other hand at most you'd only control 2 AI as at least one Human would be playing with you. 4 played Co-Op Campaign, seen some servers with up to 50 player limit.

A.C.E2 Mod is awesome, adds heaps of weapons/vehicles, heaps of new options, better textures and better sounds.

Don't hold me to this, but I think on MP you can play any expansion regardless of if you have it but the textures (or maybe something else...) are of a lower quality. Apparently there are a lot of (client side) mods that are worth getting.

Yes that is True, except there is only one Stand Alone Expansion and 2 DLC, the Textures are all blurry and the sounds are all fucked up if you don't own the DLC BUT that content is still playable except for the Campaign missions. However if you only own ARMA II you CANNOT play any Operation Arrowhead Content, and vise versa if you only own Operation Arrowhead.

have a prob though....stuck on install "creating game cache files....did this for last game i bought also hawx 2 which sits uninstalled also..........tried all the steam forum fix's to no avail...any help out there?

You might just have to leave it running for a while, i've read around a bit just now and some people have said it did end up installing after a while

yeh there are some issues with various games. try leaving it installing overnight or during the day and it should finish

Well i managed to dl ARMA2 but Arrowhead wont start to dl.....keeps sitting on downloading at 0kb/s. have changed dl location to many others...USA etc but same result....if i press pause it goes into suspended also....shits me! I hate steam.

are you using steamwatch and/or freys steam filter?

i had an issue where one or both were running, and some games just wouldnt download.

try turning em off if your running em.

also try deleting the arrowhead files in your steam folder and do a steam restart, see if that works

I bought it and its a sim style game...press 100 buttons to 'kneel' (Press R Ctrl+shift to half prone, press F4 then tap 7 times the space bar to prone, swirl mouse in perfect circle 4 times to perform melee attack then hold right and left CTRL buttons while mashing numpad to perform knife attack, you may need to use mouse to mash keyboard.)

just leave steam on and see how it goes from there.
