That's rediculous LOL. It'd fit in my case but not terribly well. Come to think of it, that card costs more than it did for my car LOL. Mind you my camera, saxophone, mac and some audio gear is worth more lol. I'll stick with my 280 for the moment.

yes that price there is extremely expensive but it is a pre-sale..... centre com still has a 6990 priced at 1099.....yet at other stores such as pccasegear, its going for $870....so with that in mind i guess the australian price will be about 1000....which is reasonable when you remember that GTX295's price was just about that when it was released..... all i can say is it will be a great card that i wish i could own ....well i say that now anyways.....i shall wait for reviews

not a very good result when you compare that the 4 gpus of the 590 only score 46000 vantage gpu score and yet 3 way sli = 45000

power consumption is better but way more expensive to buy 2x 590's instead of buying 3x580's....which can be oc'd fairly well

i also want to add that the 590 has huge potential of overclocking as it runs cool as hell with a very low fan speed.....some oc'ing with some added volts and a aftermarket cool could see this card become what we all hoped it to be

6990 has the edge until Nvidia fix the PWM's

that was his stupid fault....he was overclocking with drivers that didn't support his card......the 270.xx is the driver edition when support was added for those cards.....hes just fucking retarded

Nvidia need to upgrade the VREG and PWM on the GTX590 and then we will see numbers go up. Those cores can reach 900mhz with enough clean power.
