I had the problem before. Servers not coming up. After the patch it seems to be working fine now. More than 100 Australian servers on my list.

Last night I played a wager match along with virt, I think it was called sticks and stones. Where you are equip with a Crossbow, Ballistic knifes and a tomahawk. Each range kill is 100pts, knifing is 25pts, and if u get hit by a tomahawk, you lose all your points. Awesome game! Time limit is 5 minutes, most points wins 1500 game money

Yeah I am always on the top of the scoreboard on wager matches until I get a tomahawk to the face.

whenever I buy & equip something it isn't being used ingame.
Is anyone else experiencing this or is this a typical loser error, I mean user error ?
I can't work out why though.
I can see the equipment, such as the scope and claymore in the class
I select that class but ingame the equipment is not there.

You are probably joining Barebones server/s, which have perks, attachments, equipment and killstreaks disabled.

Some servers have their own custom settings. Like today I was playing in a no attachments, no kill-streak server

Is there any difference between the red dot sight and the reflex sight ?
And what is the infra red sight ? I haven't unlocked it yet but I was wondering if it is worth unlocking.
Has anyone used the flame thrower yet ?

apparently there is no difference between red dot and reflex sight other than looks.

Infra Red is i think the equivalent of 2x scope, everything is a hazy blue and people appear as white figures.
I think Ghost Pro prevents people with infra red sights from seeing you.
Not really worth unlocking as you can pretty much see everyone in all maps, not many have too much in the way of affecting visibility.

Flamethrower is okayish, youre better off just shooting people though because it needs a few seconds to kill someone in that time they can shoot you dead easily.

No, I am not promoting hackers because we both hate hackers and cheats in any game but that is just disappoointing. Even the very name of the website.

VAC will be the only method to eliminate these hackers. But even though VAC is there, the hackers are always 1 step ahead with there programming. A hacker in game will go to any measure, to have the aimbot. If they get caught by the system, these site provide cheap serial keys for these enthusiasts, continuing there exploitation crap. I would simply leave the server, it's not our job as gamers to correct this. Just avoid them and move along. that's my advice.

Actually we have been very quiet of late and Pauline has been very reserved.
These days we are more likely to be the targets of abuse by others for such simple things as camping !
Anyway, if there is one but not the other we are mostly quiet and well behaved. Well, I speak mostly for myself.
Still, I am amazed at the lengths people go to just to have an unfair advantage.

Black ops is easier to hack then MW2

injectors are the most common way to hack in b.o but - hackers are easily identified if they stay on for long VAC can ban them.
I Have yet too seen a hacker, or stevie wonder for that matter in B.O.

I Read somewhere that in black ops you cant modify server files, and add custom bs(server mods etc etc as you can do with nfs, mw, cwars, bc2, etc.) in it? anyone know if its true?
