AusServerFTW will be the location, the server is back up and running as of last night, there is a small contingent who will have admin abilities.

Though there should be very little to do as everything is already set up as Quacks left it.

I may need to reduce the ping kicker from 300 to 200 to allow more locals and further exclude high pingers but we will see how it goes.

Well that was a pretty good night, the last stragglers left the server between midnight and 1 am.

The server will probably be running for the next month or so depending on how the numbers go, there will be a number of opportunities for people to get together and play.

For those people who have been previously banned from AusServerFTW and find they are still currently banned, and would like to be able to participate in the up coming crysis nights, feel free to lodge a ban appeal and we will reveiw your bans on a case by case basis.

Anyone having issues with punkbuster kicking them see the following PB problem thread CLICK HERE

If you are being kicked and don't know what the problem is check your last game log file which can be found in the C:\program files\electrinic arts\crytek\crysis wars folder.
Open the game text document with notepad and scroll to the bottom, some where near the bottom there will be a line like this if it is the punk buster problem.

In the last week if possible I request that Beach be put on if thats okay into the map rotation. I know its a very very... poor choice in map compared to the more prefered Mesa or Tarmac. Infact such a poor choice this post might be disreguarded as trolololing. If not beach then perhaps mesa or tarmac, if none at all. Thats fine. Just thought I'd give it a try. Not that I can't handle just guns only just thought I'd give it a try.

I had a reel good time on the server the other night, with most of the old guys there it was fun. Also glad that Quacks and Wounded jumped on TS was like old times. But it would seam it came as at cost for me as one of my 480' has died, 3yr old game and it still killing video cards lol.

lol its a faulty card,(im guessing) warranty will see him have a new one soon, theres no way crysis killed that card when my old 8800gtx is going strong after playing 500hours more gaming then that card.

Yeah it's a warranty job for sure, the card was still working when i shut down the pc but on restart the next day it had a shit fit and shorted out, the bit that is shitting me is i had already ordered my 3rd card and was hoping to have tri sli 480's by now. Edit: I am getting insinuations from people that coz of Jarhead & I were using twinshellaa the server died coz of that. MAYBE I'm feeling paranoid/guilty again BUT If thats the case I'm sure half of you guys are able to get a rocket launcher and target the vehicles together so they die without questioning. You get enough pp from getting frags so there is no trouble getting a rocket launcher with you as it does not burdon the playable character in anyform than speed in single player, I wouldn't know about multiplayer if that affects. If not...

Remove twinshellaa from newvehicles.

Takes two people cloaked from long range both equipt with rockets and an twinshellaa, twincannonaa andything aa wise is dead along with majority of the vechiles on FTW server due to the "enhanced" missile targeting array.

I am totally aware my game play is bringing hate towards me but its what I've turned to after trying guns and aiming/shooting at heads with the hitbox just not working with me. The only gun I find that actually does work against "youse" is a shotgun and even that is frowned down upon along with all prototype weapons, underbarrel grenade launcher, nano nades, rockets on inf & c4 on tank mines.

I made this much smaller than the original post so it doesn't become TL:DR hopefully.

Let me make it simple.

If a kill takes almost no skill or a lot of cheap dirty tactics then you can't expect to be respected for it and might even get raged at. In the end it's a game though and almost everyone gets abused for something at some point.

(Idk why you bring up the shotty as that is a fun weapon lots of us use, and were even trying to use solely for a whole game)

It's too bad you feel the hitbox works against you, but i've still seen you get good kills. Just practice, and you can have your fun, just try not to get carried away if you know it's having a bad effect on the server.

Yeah I know, am aware of the dirty kampfgruppe lehr kompanie kommand tactics gain no respect. I have no pride, only in not using glitch strafe. But over all your post was a spirit lifting, will take it on board.
