| If you know how to server side a ToD + particles for a map then i'd love to hear how! I had a quick go at adding in a tornado but i couldn't find an appropriate sound to go with it, so stuff it |

| Dont forget it might be harder to shoot down the vtols as well because of visability. |

| youd be able to see the vtols engine trails as they fly, use that as a guide for aiming and they could go down. but itd still be limited visability |

| Turned this into a general "rain map" thread.
So i herd yuo guyz played Beach_rain tonight (i was at da shawpz). How was it? Gay? Awesome? Any feedback?
I heard rain comes through the buildings? Anything else? |

Certain parts of the mission_mission0.xml can be edited to work serverside, Although to exactly what extent I am unsure. Volumetric fogs may be able to be modded serverside, I am not sure. Try it, and see if it can be done. As for the rain, Aegis can help you. Spawning a rain particle effect can be done using Aegis, a small modification can be made to have it spawn automatically for certain map types. (By default it's just an admin command !rain) Anything else? EDIT: Added you.

| It was ok Shin, FPS were through the roof, visibility was very low, yes it was raining inside proto but meh refin does that also lol. |

| Thoughts so far? Does anyone know how i can get a kind of sandstorm'ish particle effect to cover the map? Something like the battledust would be good, but i couldn't find where it was in the DB. I tried a few other particles but none seemed to really suit or weren't big enough to cover the map. |
