i think its funnier it took a $600million movie to take people to realise that the world isn't perfect at all, while hippies, humanitarians and conservationists have been campaigning to protect the world and for peace amongst humanity for decades.

I was depressed at the terrible quality of the movies' storyline, and at the fact the humans didn't win.

The story was almost a complete copy of that of 'Dances With Wolves'. A far, faaarrrr better film. All it was, was SFX, story was generic, the characters were stereotypical and boring. The 6 legged animals looked ridiculous and it played for an hour and a half longer than it should have.

Edit: also cost 18 dollars to see

yeah just wasn't my thing, but plenty of people are depressed over it so it can't be all bad

just like to put it out there to everyne who says 'sfx dont compensate for a bad story' (and hence think they made a clever observation) - in fact they definitely can, you can admire the movie as a work of art, just like a picture in an art gallery doesnt have anything more to it than the image presented, the amazing special effects are certainly worth the $20 you pay. and i personally enjoyed the immerion and depth of the film (more from the music and sfx, some of the lines were a bit dodgy) and i can understand why you disliked the plot dalek but i still think your missing out on something great by not appreciating it for what it is
