In respects to the apparent racist skit of The Jackson 5 on the show "Hey! Hey! Its Saturday!" Perhaps is can be argued it wasn't, but very little evidence can back up such statement. The skit had more reason to be racist that it being not.

The population that America has, it would be hard to contain such laws. I still question to why they really need the possession of fire arms. But a controversial argument in regards to firearm is the documentary "bowling for Columbine" by Michael Moore.

well with regards to the skit of hey hey, it may be a different era but it has NO meaning over here whatsoever to the term blackface, also we must note that NONE of those people were of english nationality, they were all of ethnic background from different countries but born and bred here. So in all essence, they labeled italians, Indians, Sri Lankans and such as racist too.

I understand what trae is saying, racism is a form of belittlement towards another, it's no different to bullying but chooses to target someones ethnical background instead of other features or personality. Noone accepts bullying or racism but some people look for an issue too, some people actually like to instigate problems where problems don't exist and I mean that from both sides of the fence.

Charlie, in this topic I dont think anyone can be stupid, uneducated or wrong, it's just the way people will perceive different things but we all do agree with racism being horrible, it's just some people will percieve racism differently to others...while others will look to make it a problem.

Anyway, probably a good idea if we go onto some other subject as these things can be touchy subjects.
