Hi guys im having some problems with my computer. I have had a spare hdd that has been in my computer for quite some time. It is a 120gb Seagate Barracuda. My problem is that my computer does not want to regocnise this Hardrive, i can never see it. So when i take it out i get another problem.. my computer does not want to turn on. This is even more retarded than my previous computer where it would randomly restart on its own. Any ideas?

open up disk management (should be somewhere in control panel) and right click on the blank space righht next to the drive, and click assign drive letter. Once youve done that you can access the drive

yeah or right click on my comp n click management......then find it n format it
