Had a lady come to my shop today after she'd bought TWO DVD's off me, she had a complaint that they had no sound and that a 'professional' had checked her player and said that the DVD's were copies!

I hastely put them in my year 2001 Toshiba DVD player (pretty much had since DVD's first came into australia. Came with the Matrix DVD) and there was beautiful sound and picture, which she had observed with me.

These DVD's are direct from Universal and Paramount and have all the proper markings on the read side to indicate such. She cracked the shits because I said unfortunately I cannot refund your money as these are legitimate versions and are not faulty, she didn't like that...

She continued on about how the pro had told her this and that and it came up on the screen 'no vocal' and some shit, that it must have been copied for older machines and she would not shop here again, I got pissed off! I left a message asking her to bring in her DVD player for a second assessment from me but if she does not I will be extremely pissed off.

Not only at her but at this 'proffesional' which she wouldn't name.

Why are customers sometimes super assholes!!!!!!!

He went on a big rant and upped me big time. I then said we'll mate I've only been here two weeks. He then apologized and asked to talk to the boss. He then ranted at him for half an hour. Fucking dumb arse customers FTW.

ive got some funny stories about stupid customers, then again i'd make shit up nonstop to get em to buy stuff. kinda funny they'd eat anything up.


i do not regret leaving retail at all. though it beats the hell out of fast food thats for sure..
