Hello fellow Crysis nutters

Being a little bored at work with a little spare time I found these two little tidbits of news.
Any truth to these or is it just a bunch of shit ?

Evidence Crysis is coming to the PS3 as an exclusive?

One of the longest surviving rumors on the Web is about Crysis landing on the home consoles. Crytek already revealed that a working engine has been developed for next gen consoles. However, despite the continuous denials from the studio, hints have been leaking out of the studio indicating otherwise


And how about this regarding our beloved Crysis ?
Killzone 2 surpasses Crysis

During CES, Sony demonstrated the latest build of Killzone 2 for the PS3, which is set to ship out next month and suffice to say the game looks jaw dropping. Everything about the game was phenomenal from the details, physics, graphics, audio and gameplay. I did not think I would say this so soon, but Killzone 2 may be the first console game to surpass Crysis.

No matter where you go on the Internet, most people will agree that Killzone 2 will blow your mind. A FPS has to be something special if it is to defeat the reigning champion, Crytek’s Crysis. Split-Screen has decided to pit the two together in what they are calling a “shot-by-shot visual comparison.”

I have never heard of Killzone 2, but anyone else know anything about the game ?
Looks like it is shaping up to supposedly be a Crysis killer.
Crysis is supposed to be a trilogy right ?
Haven't heard a single peep about another version through Crytek though.

Could be a number of engines, most likely borrowed from the likes of crytek or volition.

I know killzone 1 was a great game and had good graphics for its time, killzone 2 will most likely have very good graphics also, though the two games are rendering two very different, killzone wont be rendering stuff like tropical islands etc.. Killzone may or maynot be better, if it is well done to the devs, we all know that crysis cannot remain best graphical game forever. Though thats why we have an insurance policy called crysis 2... though all those people who bought there core i7's and gtx 295's will be pissed as they wont get mind blowing performance as they did in crysis, and crysis warhead (that is if they do decide to improve the visuals in the next crysis). As for redfaction, that game is awesome, played it, loved it ... was that the first game to introduce destroying objects such as walls to get to your opponent. If so i think that it was one of the first games to take a step towards non linear game play style. Though ofcourse it hadnt completely achieved this.

oh yea, also from volition was Descent and the ultra classic game Descent:Freespace 2! If you love your games like x-wing vs tie fighter and so forth then this is the game for you. late 90's 3D graphics and such, awesome story, great action in game. really good space action sim, shame volition hasn't continued with its winning formula
