its not a negative comment, its just not scary. Im a HUGE horror fan, the only part worthy of a scare is in the car scene. A testament to how its not even a true horror film is the comical part with the summoning of a demon.

Go find Clive Barkers Hellraiser or the original 'Alien' and I bet you'll find them scarier.

subtitles will ruin REC as you'l be busy reading them, and without the dialogue it makes it shitloads scarier.


metro shits on stalker. the atmosphere and monsters were way better. CS and COP ruined the original stalker by adding so much bullshit.

Np Dessicrator, yeah Alien was scarier but kinda saw the scary parts coming which prepared yourself for the oncoming lol. Never seen Clive Barkers Hellraiser might check it. Lol the only stuff I got a lil startled with was when she was in her back shed, grabbing stuff to sell at the pawn shop, she pulls back the 2nd curtain and just a screaming corpse thing attacks. The bed scene when she is awoken by the fly then goes back to bed and looks at her "bf" next to her turns into that corpse thing.

summary: Yeah sorta scary, I not quite sure kinda balls. Its a shame horror has come to JUMP OUT AND OOGA BOOGA to scare now days, varies at times.

Aye you seen REC Traelium??? I reckon that was good compared to the American version "Quarentine". So bad that. Same with Paranormal Activity.
Was REC 2 scary? I just assumed it would be lame cause most sequels die in the ass. Am still tempted to watch. Need subtitles man. They are speaking different language lol.

rec2 was awesome, and creative. some of the kills were awesome, and the IR shit at the end scared the shit out of me.

WAY better without subtitles. subs kill the atmo. who cares about the story.

Horror movies these days have turned to shit. The old stuff was more creative and gave you chills down your spine. Also some of the gore in horror movies are just to the max, they don't deserve to be called horror, should be just called a gore movie. I'm not a real big fan of horror movies but I do enjoy some that make you think and are actually good to watch. I haven't seen it but I really want to, I recommend everyone watch it as I have heard good things about it. Its called "Mark of the Devil", a good old 70's movie It is gory, but none the less I think a good old horror.
