i played this, or an earlier version of this, a few months ago at my little cousins house, no idea where he got it from, i thought it was a shit unreal mod. it had absolutely nothing on l4d... it played like a sack of shit, really slow and unintuitive weapons. at first i didn't think this was it but after checking it out on steam its spot on, the dudes with the clubs for hands were like the tanks. also there was little ones that run along the ground and cloaked zombies ...

Yeh I bought the game today so i can have a run, but it wont download for me. The whole day it has just said, "downloading 0%"

Fixed the problem. Steamwatch was not letting it download from some reason

Dunno why, but I turned that off, and deleted all existing content, and restarted the download and it worked.

i actually enjoy it, foo and shin been on it a far bit, sam.e.bear as well, i have played only a few times because i am capped and half the time ping is fine but then other times it's through the roof. for un old game and the price, co-op cant go wrong

thats kinda what i was getting at

basically any downloads and shit from websites or done by programs, or whenever they generate a task to do usually creates a temp file in your C: drive. tis why its important to keep like 5gb free of space on the C: drive at least at all times otherwise your comp runs like shit.


some locations to check: (im using xp)

C:\Documents and Settings\YourUsernameHere\Local Settings(hidden folder)\Temp

delete that shit inside
if its needed itll get recreated next time the app opens

or

C:\Documents and Settings\YourUsernameHere\Local Settings(hidden folder)\Application Data(hidden folder)

now with that, dont just delete folders cause it contains some necessary stuff. instead try browsing for anything that may share a similar file name or creation time as what youre trying to download, maybe in a cache or something, then delete it.

youll also notice there is a Temporary Internet Files in the Local Settings. deleting shit in theres doesnt matter really they are just cookies n stuff so websites can load faster though if youre downloading stuff via a website sometimes it can help to delete all the crap there.


also check the location of where youre downloading stuff TO to see if theres a temporary file being created (usually there is, with a similar name) stop the dl, delete that then start the dl again.
(deleting it will remove any progress done)
