As the title says, i have never looked into it, is it more upload than DL that is used? I ask as i have 300meg left till im capped and wondered how long it will last lol.
p.s. with my plan upload data isnt counted toward my usage so i hope more upload is used than DL!

You can look up some stats via Google or get your own stats from ISP.

I'd use less than 100-200mb a day if it was just pure gaming.

I remember having a LAN at me misses house with 4-5 others and we used between 300mb-1.2gb a day. Playing Games, Surfing and Very Small patch downloads.

i use about 100mb download if i were to play all day. dunno about upload though so yeh.

that 300mb would probably last me about a week or so if it was just a few hours each night

well i used 30gb in about 8 days.
Now we rang our company and they tol dus to do the usual but one comp at a time..
My BF checked and apparently it uses quite alot..
But then again im on crysis at like 4-10 hrs a day (because im a bum lmao)

But thats also with me on msn, xfire and ts/skype/vent (dpeneding)

as far as bandwith goes, i can play crysis when capped at 6.4kb/s without any problems, but when i run any other program (like ts) my ping jumps above 2500 so crysis probably uses just under 6kb/s total upload+download

i played crysis over the easte rlong weekend for 86hrs straight.. didnt sleep or anything..

not i was on the 20gb plan then and still i didnt get capped... it was hard for me to use 20gb in 30 days. i as downloading movies and everything

i upgraded my plan to 30gb was one crysis for 8 days and downloaded 4 songs and i use it all.... its got me thinking.. lmao...

i dont think i could do it in 2.5 days syler.. but for that mate i will give you a pat on the back lmao

Yeah im like that too clerk.. i can play crysis no problem but if my TS is on i loose connnection problems is theres more then 6 players on..

meh play 30 mins of crysis and monitor your net usage from the minute you fire up crysis and its connected to the net, to the time you disconnect from the Crytek servers. make sure nothing else is running, and see how much it is

my guess is itll be a very small amount, but with crysis a few hours can pass quickly

also may change a teeny bit based on what server and how many are playing on it, i thunk.

Crysis uses <10kb/s down and <5kb/s up. So around 30MB/hour.

I found in the original crysis it was using around 20 Mb per hour

hence the reason on a home 1.5MB adsl connection. a home server can manage about 6-10 players

it's really the upstream that kills it though
