There don't seem to be any decent cases in my opinion. And before you start, I've looked at the Antec 900/1200, HAF932, all that
Nothing suits my needs. So, I'm going to Build my own.
12mm MDF exterior (thicker = quieter, not to mention ease of working) Interior Dimensions 600H x 250W x 500D (mm) Exterior Dimensions 600H x 274W x 524D (mm) 120mm Rear Exhaust Fan 120mm Side Intake Fan - located over Graphics Card Area
Complete Water Cooling setup CPU VGA North bridge Maybe RAM??
Because of W/C'ing, will be running a 360X120 Radiator, top mounted (cut hole in top of case and mount there) Radiator will have 3x120mm fans - with front mounted controller, for quiet and cooling modes.
You'll probably be thinking "a wooden case?? WTF!!?? how will you mount every thing? Screw it to the side?" But no, I have this covered If I get a few broken computers from Trade Me (NZ Auction Site), a computer technician, or possibly the dump, I can snake the Chassis Mounts from these, and cobble together, via grinding and welding, a complete mounting chassis to fit inside my wooden cox, to hold as many 5.25" & 3.5" drive bays, both exposed and hidden as I want.
My only issues with this plan so far, is going to be the accuracy of holes cut for drive bays, as unlike a standard case, I wont have a fancy plastic/metal injection molded front panel. I am going to use a separate piece of 12mm MDF, with an outside ring around it to keep it clear of the original front.
If anybody else can see any issues or problems with my idea, please let me know, I want this to work
Colour and Size idea below - The large Blue part will be a vinyl from the local Signwriters, the black will be painted Gloss Black. Small triangles of blue will be flush mounted smoked perspex/glass, with a blue LED behind each.

Hope you dont have to move it to much, MDF board case will be quite heavy and i would rethink mounting your rad in the top. IF you have a leak in it, its above ALL your hardwear. To my way of thinking you need to keep all the pump, rad, header tank ect out side of the case, incase of a leak. If your going to build your own, you could make a separate and sealed area in the case for the h2o gear. Im going to h2o as well soon and will have only the hose and water block(s) in the case. Iv made a mouting plate for 2 tripple fan rads, pump and tank @ the back of the case.

yeah ive thort this too Arny My solution so far is
on right side of case (where mobo usually sits) i will make a false side, with bout a 50mm gap in there, will be a custom perspex reservoir, the pump, and the Radiator, mounted vertically on the side of the case, at the top
if all hell breaks loose, h2o setup is hiding, with just 2 pipes going from the w/c area to the general pc area
