| Ok I was playing about on the GA DX10 TIA server the other day with a few peeps and had a ball....it looks awesome esp on maps like coast! So was wondering who in the clan can play DX10 servers, ie has Vista or Win 7 loaded. So we can have some games on there at some point. Cheers, Cos. |

| u dont need vista for 2 moniter sli do u daemon? Im using win7 beta with a GTX260 and im just using both of the outputs for my screens. It should work just as well on XP as well coz its handled int he Nvidia dirvers... isnt it? |

| dual screens in xp yes, but in SLI mode, XP disables the second screen. Vista and win7 you can set the sli focus on one screen and use minimal GPU power to render a second screen (For TS and whatever) |

| We were testing Trae's new rig out on GA DX10 last night and were blown away......we were getting awesome FPS and playability. The new Win 7 build 7100 is unbelievable with the latest nvidia drivers.....get this 1920X1200 all best quality DX10 ~50-70 FPS! Thats a 20-30FPS increase from Vista in DX10.... Cloakers are near impossible to see in DX10 full spec (which imbaladis loved being a sniper whore) lol. pics off coast.....loved the change in weather dynamics as it got dark...rain got heavier etc While we were on several guys jumped on also....there are alot of guys that have rigs/setups capable of running DX10 now and with Win 7 running Crysis so well we should start playning on DX10 more.....the way the game was meant to be played....Trae's quote "This game is so different on full spec DX10 ill have to learn how to play again" lol lighting effects are awesome. Cos out. |

would it lower my performance ingame? Nah m8 u set the primary display as the sli display and it puts all the GPU power to that.....i dont notice any difference in FPS or performance running 2 screens. |

| Impressive m8..
What PSU you have there? I see Zalman, but how big of one did you go with? Never seen a CPU cooler that massive... Mine are all small, but all my machines are water cooled. Will try to take some photos when I am not so sleepy. |

Are you serious? see here: https://clanftw.forumotion.net/tech-discussion-f2/3d-mark-scores-t119-30.htmFor your system you need to use 3Dmark Vantage DX10 For those with DX9 only/XP you use 3Dmark 06 I have placed a link and CD keys in that thread for Vantage. Benching is the best tool to tune ya rig and get the max performance possible. Its like dynotuning ya car rofl!! Cos. |
