ahah gay 3 wheelers! The front tires look like something off a pram, rear tire needs to be fatter for more of a manly feel.

Motorized pushbikes.

What the fuck is wrong with these lazy motherfuckers, fuck it fucks me seeing people riding around on these fucking things they call pushfuckingbikes..."ooooh, look at me, im getting sooo fucking fit, but i can't be fucked pedalling" fucking retards deserve to be hit by a fucking truck.

Take off the fucking pedals and at least turn them into fucking shiny object that teething babies can fucking chew on.

Ahhhhh DT200 are never sweet. Its a two stroke agg bike lol.

Go earn some money and get a WR250F, or KLX250F, CR250F etc.

Or get an older XR250, still heaps better than DT

Mate you can't go past a good XR250 for what you want. $2500 should get you a later model in good nick. More reliable than the DT and easyer to ride fast, not to bad in the bush. Go for ever if you look after it.

i've found a good Honda CR250R... http://bikesales.com.au/all-bikes/private/details.aspx?R=2312755&__sid=11FFAFCEF53A&__Qpb=true&Cr=9&__Ns=p_Make_String|0||p_Model_String|0||p_IsPremium_Int32|1&keywords=&__N=1432%20604%201430%201429%201428%204294967259%204294967121&seot=0&__Nne=15&trecs=72&silo=1400

only prob is that its in QLD, if i can get it shipped to me how much does it cost roughly to make it street legal, rego and insurance??...

also this DT http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Automotive/Motorbikes/Trail-Off-road-Bikes/AdNumber=TP001780462?BackToResult=true truly isnt that bad is it??.. cause already road worthy and has 12 month rego... plus its only my first shitty bike so watta u guys think??... also trying to keep the budget to 2 g's

Your not listening CR250F, not CR250R, dont get a 2 stroke motocrosser for your first bike, youll kill ya self and hate it. (And cant get reg)

And dont get a ag bike DT, they are shite. Ive ridden one.

Get something like this
http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Automotive/Motorbikes/Trail-Off-road-Bikes/AdNumber=8565568?BackToResult=true

They will go down to 2 grand.

Other good options are DR 250(suzuki), or TTR250(yamaha)

bob wat it mean if it has like S or F or R or L after the cc? e.g XR250R?? are KDX's any good?

also how much roughly for rego, insurance, and to convert a bike if it hasnt been already so it can go on road?

and wats this bike like : http://bikesales.com.au/all-bikes/private/details.aspx?R=3037803&__Qpb=true&Cr=12&__Ns=p_Make_String|0||p_Model_String|0||p_IsPremium_Int32|1&keywords=&__No=165&__N=1432%20604%201430%201429%201428%20743%20681%2080&silo=1400&PriceTo=681&seot=0&PriceFrom=743&__Nne=15&trecs=330&__sid=11FFAFCEF53A

It changes for each model, F on the new ones generally means four stroke. KDX's were good in there day, 200cc from memory but two stroke again. It was an enduro model and could be registered, but because its old two stroke, you would have to mix your oil with your fuel. Which sucks.

Were do you live and ill have a look for u.

sorry bob i meant DR NOT KDX... lol if u clicked the link u woulda seen also lol...i live in Coogee, Sydney.. i looked up to check that DR250S spec's and it says its a 4 stroke... and if this guy says it cruises 115 on the highway tahts enuf for me... plus theres rego on it till like august...

and wounded i would buy a car but the whole point of getting a bike is so i dont hav to do gay 120 hours of l's shit when i can ride straight up without doing hours just a course... bikes are cheaper too and could be fun if i get a trail bike that can go on road...

so bob back to the DR if it is 4 stroke u reckon its not a bad buy??

Could that still be alright for a learners bike though cos? if he can work the price down a bit, so it means that if he drops it (or crashers) its going to be a cheaper bike?

yeah Aus its still not worth the money hes asking though. You can plastic weld the damage or buy second hand fairings but too much hassel and expensive. Just look for a straight one Gazz.

what ???? havent ridden a good bike and trail ??? i go riding every weekend and love it. Its awesome fun, must admit i am a fan of the motorbikes as well and plan to be buying one soonish - was looking at a Kawasaki ninja but i dunno . And yes - the only thing wrong with mountain biking is the mountain bit, and you cant get uber fit riding a motorbike either Razz

Hey Cosi have you ridden a Kawasaki Z1000

Im looking at making an impulse buy. Ive always loved the naked bikes. Not sure if I would get annoyed without a decent wind visor after a while though.

Bob a mate of mine had a Z1000, great bike, he loved it. Havnt actually ridden 1 but he had lots of bikes and rated this 1 high. The screen being low i wouldnt worry bout, sports bike screen are that low anyway it only protects you when in full tuck. Which aint very often. My advice is go ride the thing, if you like it buy it, maybe try a few other brands in same class/style to compare also.
Here's a pic from a ride we had a bout a year ago or so, his was an 05 model i think, looked good in black n gold.

What year model u lookn at, Color etc? Naked bikes look tough i agree Twisted Evil

Yeah thanks Cos, it looks good. Im looking at probably a 2005 to 2008. Willing to spend up to 10k. The new models come out with that trumpet muffler which looks pretty shit, but Id go a new pipe pretty quick.

i lost my first licnce on my cbr250rr, so cut. and some1 said that you can replace ferrings lol. wen i came of my bike for the first time that was more then i paid for the bike.

they are shit bunch of bikes but great learner legal bikes

hyosung = CHEAP korean bikes but they are V-twin so they have a good sound for a 250 and actually look pretty decent (thats the one i would get)

cbr250 = are everywhere should be able to find one at everycorner under 20,000k's (the quickest learner legal bike ive heard of). or the cb250 which is shit but can get you to a to b...

aprillia = my uncle ken has one rs250 << not learner legal for a 250 but fun as fuck, 2 stroke screamers <<< the best 250 ever been on..............if you can get away with it SO WORTH IT.....

and my mate rides a wr450 and somehow is legal for learner, thats a dirt bike though..... darwin road law as well!!

^^^ thats all i know, from past experiences, hope it helps^^

lol@boots
Bob is lookin at a 1000cc Kwaka boots not a 250 Learner.
With the mods, like pipes etc get em overseas n shipped. I got my Akrapovic Carbons from Canada shipped to the door for $500 cheaper than i can get em here. Especially since the AU dollar is 92 US atm its def worth it. Just have to be carefull on the price as you my have to pay customs duty if over $1000.

mmmm check this out same brand on mine in carbon looks sweeeet

Have you thought of a Yamaha FZ1?

The 06-07 model looks nicer than the new models imo and go for 10-12 grand

Yes wounded, if it is a topic which concerns me I do try and keep it clean. If it bothers you so much, feel free to do the same.

@Cosi
Your getting excited mate Very Happy
Yeah had a bit of a look at the FZ1, they look pretty nice but they copied the kwaka naka. Good to know about shipping for the pipes. Its all just a matter of finding one local now. Then we can get quacks and gazz and go for a FTW ride day.
