Schumaucer copped a lot of shit from the press and F1 fans because he was celebrating the win on the podium at Imola after Senna died, but he did not know that Senna had died at the time. He says it still haunts him today.

Yeah I was watching live when Senna died also with a mate......we didnt know he had died until the news reports the next day although i remember some of the camera shots that night and after seeing him pulled from the car and a large pool of blood on the road, it didnt look good at all. I was shocked as he seamed invincible. The court case that went on with regards to his death was a farce also. End cause found was a modified steering column that was "trimmed" to make it smaller diameter to save weight. This broke causing him to spear off the track...... at the same time the car bottomed out on the undertray due to the tyre pressures dropping after the restart causing him to loose mechanical grip also.

Schumacher races much like Senna...they both have a win at all costs attitude...second is the first looser mentality. This has cause Schum and Senna to make some poor racing decisions like Schum taking out Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve to win titles....and thus beeing disquallified for a whole season......and Senna running into Prost on purpose to take him out and win the 1990 Suzuka GP and thus the Championship.
He admirers him alot and still conceeds that Senna is the best racing driver that ever lived...not himself though.
