mate i had a similar prob not to long ago.

couldn't work it out thought might be gpu or cpu but i was wrong. suprisingly it was the ram.

are u using vista or xp? and how much ram do u have?

using vista home premium 32bit, 2GB 667mhz ram

I see the problem:
1: Your technician is a pony,
2:You need 4gigs of RAM ASAP preferably of the 800mhz variety, make sure to have a 64 bit system so your computer will actually use all 4 gigs.
3" MSY sells cheap stuff

To clarify....you can play wars on a 64 bit OS....in fact it is preferred as you can utilise more ram but as wounded said you cant run the Wars (64bit exe) for MP as PB STILL isnt in x64 format. X64 is backward compatible with 32 bit so you can run all 32bit apps inc the normal wars32.exe....my suggestion is to wait for win 7 official release and go for the x64 version and upgrade ya rig then......hopefully round the time Crysis 2 is released!
