| Yeah, you know what i meant lol. I know that the x58 chip set boards are getting older now but boy there is some awesome performance to had with these for very little out lay. You can get i7 960's for under $300 now and a 980 for under $600 so for raw power, these still have no pier. With the tri channel ram and six cores it's hard to beat for the price. |

| for the room i have it in, u cant go wrong, but if u want a theatre system then its not what u wanna get. it hasnt got much total rms but still thumps. a total of 500 between all speakers in a bedroom will leave u deff, or maybe it just the fact i have it under my desk thats creating the extra thump from the bass , but overall it is very clear noise, without upping the levels i had the volum full and it sounded awesome, no distortion just that perfect clean sound. if u look around u can get it for $500, like from jb hi-fi. |

| nice lil list there. thx mate.
my only concern is the asus mobo, i haven't really heard the best of things about them, might just pay the extra couple of bucks and get the evga x58.
love those dominators tho,
as for the store they are very cheap compared to most, i guess it's going to b where i get my new parts from.
thx for links arni. |

| Mate my last 3 systems have bean build around Asus boards and all three were overclocked to with in a inch of there lives and SLI systems, all three are still going well. Talk to Nappy about the Evga boards they have had some trouble when using 2 or more video cards. You can now buy the Asus Rampage lll Extreme for just over $300, this was a $700 board. It will do Tri SLI @ 16x or 4 way SLI @ 3 x 16x + 1x8x where as the EVGA board will give you full 16x 4 way SLI but with some power supply problems. I like the Asus board because they are made to O/C and have some nice features to help make it easyer, like my board has 2 BIOS chips. So when i up date the BIOS i can up date one chip and try it out with out fucking up the other one, this takes the risk out of doing a BIOS up date and it also let you store up to 20 O/C profiles. Truth is there both good Boards, just comes down to personal choice and price . |
