According to documents filed by Sony Computer Entertainment America, PS3 hacker George “Geohot” Hotz fled to South America in a bid to escape court hearings and to avoid handing out his possessions.
Sony also said that Hotz “had deliberately removed integral components of his impounded hard drives prior to delivering them to a third party neutral.”
Apparently, Hotz also lied about having a PSN account.
Amusing how he pleaded for donations to hire a lawyer, because he hacked the ps3 to restore lost functionality or to expose a security problem.. whatever. Then instead he just pisses off, haha. here's his site: http://geohot.com/
