Hey all, anyone whose interested in playing another game of original crysis should jump in game this Thursday 8th January at 7pm AEST.

Since only a small % of players read this forum it would be great if you could spread the word amongst your friends/clannies so that we can get a good turnout for a great game.

Sorry Jimmy, I'll be unable to play anything untill the 15th of January, otherwise I would be there mate.

I think we should make it a regular event like one day/night every weekend, or every other weekend, doesnt really matter which day to me Friday arvo/night Saturday or Sunday, provided we can get enough to turn up each time it will be fun.

At least lets give Internode an excuse to continue running their Crysis server before it too dissapears into the void.

I think weekday nights are probably the go though considering our actvity as a clan is pretty shite on the weekends. I for one am completely MIA on saturdays.

We could rotate days or maybe make 2 days a week we have a smash at it, I think it would pick up over time as along as we advertise it a bit.

I can make up numbers myself and also Glenno would proberly be interested only thing is maybe 7pm a little early ?? Maybe it should be a vote able topic to get everyones ideas on dates/ times/ maps ect .

I reckon for the first one we would stick to the times that Jimmy has set as he has organised it via other sites aswell.
Doesnt matter if your late we will probley be playing for a few hours.

Yah, the time is set purely as a kick off time so that everyone can have a crack. As Quacks has said, i'm hoping for it to run well into the wee hours of friday morning.

That woked out to be a good night for the people who could make it. There was a large turn out on the internode server so I'd call that a sucess, and it gave us a chance to integrate some of the new clan members back into the original game. I'm up for doing that again, I think if there is a large interest in doing this again, consider making this a weekly event as was mentioned before. Was a good night for the crysis community and to hear Quacks start to rage like back in the day.


Quacks the thought that you raised about trying to get a file from Crytek to revert wars back to vanilla crysis was good maybe give it more consideration?<< Maybe we should hound them like you said, to get wars patched or something maybe back to something close to vanilla...

It was funny as but that was one thing i prefer about wars is the name tagging, in original it was sometimes difficult to tell the difference.

Is there going to be another vanilla night this week? just wondering if it will be a continual thing, as I havn't been on ts lately I'm unaware if it has been talked about etc. I'll return to ts on friday arvo/night or somethin cos of exams.
