Black Ops stutter fix that worked for me

Type /stoprecord into console at start of map and completely smooth gameplay for me!
Also /snd_restart is supposed to help some ppl

black ops crashed on kill cam lol might be my end tho...

Yeah looks like it works for some and not others as with all the fix's so far......seemsto work great for me though, maybe its my Q-sli or something but killed stutter alltogether

yea with the killcams, it seems that the corpses overreact when they die, i mean, wtf, theyre dead DIE.

as for the lag, pretty sure its the game recording servers have on, if they disable it, it might decrease the lag, thats just an assumption tho.

Also keep an eye on the cpu / ram usage in game and on loading, i use my G15 performance monitor... it shows an enormous jump in cpu and ram when it lags, kinda looks like a memory leak, but it doesnt crash, i starts off low, then gradually increases, lags then cpu and ram usage drop again, and it cycles through that.

Not to mention singleplayer WTF.

What a let down, Treyarch have developed a great game with minimal performance optimisations, it was the most anticipated game of the year and we all get to go wtflolbbq.

they didnt do shit.. they came up with a dumb excuse to tack a bunch of their most-finished levels together in the most fragmented story excuse possible.. like one of those movies where in the end the main character just 'wakes up'. a facility on the bottom of the ocean? suck my dick treyarch. an avalanche you have to walk STRAIGHT THROUGH to survive?

and the multiplayer.. as fun as it may be, isn't it just the last COD with a different scoring system and LAG?

Massively let down in 2010 by games (cept for halo reach), and i could write a fuckin essay on my 8 hours in New Vegas where EVERYONE WAS MY ENEMY FROM THE START! I had to take down the head of the fucking legion on Level 6!!!! And did that have an impact on the story or game? Nope.. i failed one quest i wouldnt even get for another 30 hours...fuck my wife.

And if thats not enough, the australian poker league wants my computer back (WIN never actually got me my own fucking computer in three years), and the IT department is just going to get me some piece of shit Precision workstation for like $4000, which has a fucking 2ghz dualcore, 2gbram and 250gb hdd. For $4k. I told them you can get an XPS system with an i7, gtx470, 2tb hdd and 12gb ram for $2k, and what the fuck did they tell me?? "We dont buy those systems". WHAT THE FUCK. FUCK CUNTS.

sales...dumb people buy shit, no offence intended if you've bought black ops the only reason its like this is cos a console can make it into anyones house and its perceived as sociable compared to computers. Some people just do not like keyboards and mice and like their living rooms with large TV's to play their games. I say good on AMD/ATI for having cheap computer systems, allows people with small budgets to get into PC gaming. Another thing is that WINDOWS OS restricts gaming power to some degree compared to the OS that goes with XBOX for example, so they can put shoddy components in to reduce price and still provide high enough graphics (which I must say...are pretty average still)

lol so right. I wouldn't have expected cod to be amazing for PC gamers though, but I hope developers stop aiming at console standards.
