also, heres a clip of me playing stalker, where an enemy wasn't quite where i expected him to be and caught me by surprise. i spend the first couple of mins looking for him, think ive got him when he jumps me.
i quite like this game.

isnt that the FIRST bloodsucker encounter from the FIRST stalker? have you even finished it?
metro on the whole shits on stalker. bloodsuckers go down with one shot to the head, as do most things in stalker. and controllers, the scariest fuckin monsters, can't actually hurt you

Sigh... nevermind.
To answer, yes I have. Was just playing it again for fun, and thought I'd show off the atmosphere if anyone hadn't seen it. In vanilla stalker as usual yes they are easy as piss, I was playing it with a mod which made stalker much better hence why it took a gazillion shots, also because apparently i didnt hit the head enough. Also, controllers can hurt and do kill you. And it doesn't take them very long.
No need to prance on your high horse, they were games made by essentially the same people, I just simply prefer stalker over metro.

I think I might download me Metro. Stalker looks alright... I love games that are scary. Dead Space was good

completely different styled games. metro is more like half life, you follow the story and its totally linear. stalker is about exploring and looking for artefacts and covering large amounts of distance with nothing happening.
the biggest challenge in stalker is trying to remember what you're meant to be doing. i loved stalker and played it through more times then i played through metro but metro was just a much better experience.

I have to agree stalker involves a LOT of walking around, and in vanilla stalker this can be pretty damn boring, SoC has the problem of that straight out of the box it has a fair few bugs and feels somewhat incomplete.

If you're going to get stalker get the Complete 2009 mod to up the graphics and fix bugs, doesnt change gameplay much at all If you want to have a fun time in stalker get AMK 1.4 - adds new guns, tons more enemies roam the zone making it interesting where you come across more firefights and animals attacking people, mutants wandering the zone (including controllers who can zombify stalkers and control other mutants) and so on. Playing AMK currently and it really makes stalker amazing.
Hahahahahah at Rec 2 trailer. Swat team just going around perforating anything void of human qualities whilest listening to classical music. Great stuff. 5/5 A MUST SEE!
Charlie if you like scary games, I suggest you try "Amnesia: The Dark Decent". Probably one of the most intense and scary games I have played. You can pick up the demo on steam, I tried it and loved it, my bro bought it and loves it too. Its only $20.00 as well, the atmosphere is great and is best to wear headphones and turn the lights off, really sets the mood Heres some gameplay footage if your interested.
I played the demo, Amnesia is very atmospheric, but I got to a part I couldn't work out or maybe it was end of the demo though I doubt it so stopped playing Then the full version came out but I haven't got it yet.
Seems like a great game though some of the graphics are a bit off, the lighting is fantastic. And gameplay is just that bit different that makes it interesting (fucking insanity metre, how does it work?)
However, I've also acquired The Void, Precursors, Mirror's Edge, Stalker: Call of Pripyat, and Assasin's Creed.. ive started games on the first 3 but not the other two yet (aren't installed either), so I should finish them before moving on to more.

In Amnesia you can't fight back monsters and told not to play to win. ANDDDD
I think let the right one is POSSIBLY the only decent Vampire movie... relevant how to here? Its romantic horror, no not like Twilight. Came to my realisation that she only ultimately wanted the kid to take over the original persons job. :S Was on last night too bad sbs has ads now and cutted bits off it. : /

Whats is amnesia about?
I reckon you cant beat Fear 2 or Half Life the originals and HL2 lol, not particularly scary but heaps of fun.
