Why don't they just make a slightly seperate complete movie, which would interest even more people anyway. I know I would like to see some of the amazingly detailed and themed game trailers turned into feature movies more than the kiddy ones everywhere.
Besides, anyone could rip the cutscenes from a game and compile them themselves if they wanted to without paying for it again...

Yeah but the point is retarded shitheads, fanboys and 12 year olds with their mummies credit cards will still buy it and make them billions, and they know this.
Its like how, on top of all the crap in WoW you put up with you could PAY MONEY just to get a fucking mount. And of course its not that special in the end because anyone could buy it. But heaps of people did, a few pixels redone on an old model made them $10 per person.
