3:30 AM Melbourne time, on Fox 8 was a show something along the lines of "Xbox360, revolutionary 'yadda yadda'" Microsoft announced a release of two new hardware, one being a new xbox 360, slimmer, quiter, faster, and the second being a new innovation in the gaming industry, gaming without a controller.
Named 'Kinect' the xbox interacts with the player wirelessly, im not a fan of 'wireless interaction' mainly because its not efficient, and doesnt work as well asits supposed to, but looking at the reveal this morning, i was impressed on how efficient it was. The voice recognition is also impressive on how effective it is, without the need of repeating your self for it to understand you.
It also allows voice chat over msn, skye, and other popular voxbox360 programs.
Microsoft have also partnered with many big companies to produce more 'Knectable' games in the near future, ubisoft, activision, tryarch, Crytek, and manymore.

Oh and i forgot to mention, it will be shipped to retailers today, and be the same price as the current xbox360.
