Karma was having a bitch that the REX is inferior compared to the M1911, I reckon its either or given they have similar ammo capacity, where the REX trades that one bullet and fire rate for damage and accuracy.

Also, why did you (karma) keep calling the M9 a glock? I was so confused, its a Beretta, like the M93R (which is a lot of fun). Duhhhh. =P

I reckon the M9 is the most balanced pistol, though lately I've had tons of fun running around with the MP443-Grach, only 5 kills away from platinum (however I kept dc-ing with ping spiking ridiculously all the time)



Anyways, what sidearm do you guys prefer to carry?
Are you game enough to use it as a primary? Shit's pretty fun.

I'm an M93Raffica Beretta person.

Not that I would use it as a primary though. Its the perfect weapon to pull out once I'm out of Assault rifle ammo/don't have time to reload.

However I have more kills with the M1911, so I'm not sure what that means lol.

EDIT: oh wait, I didn't see that you had the tracer dart there lol. Serves me right for scrolling down to quick. gotta love the tracer dart. I've shot more rounds with it than the burst pistol lol. Pity you can't kill people with it. Although somehow I got killed by a smoke nade tonight.

Okay for those who use the Rex, do you use the sights or off the hip?

When I did use it (just to get the 5 kills for the award) I think I used sights more than hip, but usually its spray and pray with pistols lol. Other than tracer dart that is.

M9 here i got a platnum star for it and i think its an awsome sidearm

I use the MP 443, with magnum ammo it's a 4 hit kill at close range (same as the m9, which only gains effective range from magnum rounds) and it has a 17 round clip which means in theory I could kill 4 people with one mag or I can spray and still kill at least two.

I use it from the hip Karma, even on hardcore you get use to where the bullet goes once you use it regularly.

Glocks are shit though =P better off throwing them at the enemy and waiting for them to explode.

I mentioned to you on TS but I'll say here; pretty sure most of my kills with the REX have been off the hip, but so have most of my kills with all pistols. A few times I aim down the sights but when you pull a sidearm out its not usually to sit and aim, you wanna get some shots off quick to finish an enemy before he kills you.

Once I get the 9 gold stars on the Rex I will go back to the 45. I use it once the enemy is running away from being hurt, or when I run out of ammo from the primary. I like the MP 443 but I can aim confidently with the 45 to not need the MP 443. I have got 9gold on the M9, 45., MP 443 and only on 5gold for the Rex. The Rex is too slow of a gun to componsate for the higher damage it gives.
The 45colt has 7 rounds in the mag and it is a faster reload and rate of fire also its ironsight has no problem with it. The Rex has 6 rounds in the chamber, slower rate of fire and reload also the ironsight aren't reliable however it has a tiny bit more damage. I have aimed at enemy from the ironsights with the Rex, while he was not moving and even though I aim directly at them the Rex at times misses the first shot. You could argue to shoot only from the hip, but why would you choose a weapon that isn't reliable and slower for the tiny bit more in damage. The 45colt is just much better than the Rex.

lol karma, I haven't had problems aiming down the sights with either guns, and i've killed people in less than 4 bullets with the grach (yes, headshots and close range magnum ammo, point being it has lots of bullest to spit out quickly)
But yeh, REX and M1911 really are up to user preference.
