For a reported general performance boost:
- Documents>BFBC2Beta and open up "settings.ini"
- Change "Bloom=true" to false

I have bloom on but will try it off to see the diff....also in my .ini I have set DxVersion=9
rather than auto...can hardly tell the diff between DX9 v Dx10.....just the 10-20FPS boost lol.
The biggest drag on performance is HSAO (ambient occlusion)
set it to HSAO=false for extra FPS (can be done ingame in gfx settings also) unlike bloom.

Saying that the game runs sweet for me anyway with 16XAA and 16XAF hehehe

These are awesome tips, just done the server list one. I got all the Australia servers in my favourites list, no more waiting for the whole international list .
btw if you guys do the server list tip make sure you turn on your read-only option or it won't work.

yeah same it didn't do much.

Yeah it basically allows you to change some of the settings in the ini without opening it...like DX and bloom.

The sound part aint workn yet also.
