| Got an issue with my PC....maybe someone has had similar. Its an XFX 790i ultra Started it up this arvo and it kept powering off as soon as i took my finger off the power button. Then i checked all connections and it powered up as normal but wont post (i.e beep noise) Has code FF on the mobo lcd which is normal...no error....tried all the usual...unpluged everything..tried different RAM, GPU etc etc Tried cmos reset and battery out etc Looks like a dead mobo  |

| mate i had the same problem, it powers up the dies real quickly repeating itself non stop. might be different but i left it for a while and came back and it was fixed |

| Sound like manufacture defect to me, keep investigating mate if other people had same problem then hassle the manufacture for a replacement or you money back. |

| Looks like its my PSU took the mobo out and it wouldnt post with just the PSU connected to board and CPU.......
Hooked up a cheap ass 400watt to off the misses PC and it posted.......so as soon as i track down a new 1000w PSU ill be back in business.
Mine was an ANTEC 1000w truepower quatro....any other recommendations lol? |

| I have an Xigmatek 1200w not the cheapest but one of the best. If you look in to it mate there are really only 4 or 5 psu's to have and they all made at the same factory, just diff branding. | Antec, lol funny that failed. I use a coolermaster. It doesnt generally get classed in the same bracket as your more expensive ones, but hey mines never failed.

| Yer i had an antec 850w that went bang. Was only 6 months old to, antec replaced it after about two months wait! |

| Yeah turns out it wasnt the PSU, had it tested and all was fine! Must have had a dodgy connection on the CPU power, mine has 8 pins, a bit of a clean and all good  |
