| I just signed up at work for a similiar plan as the elite liberty 12gb. Was on the phone this morning, had the speed by this afternoon! |

| Yeah pretty good plans they have now, im glad the 100gb one is capped and the 5mb upload speed is even better, 100 down is gonna be tops cant wait to test it out |

| post speedtest when done king. How far are you from the exchange, are those speeds less the further you are away? |

| Im am on Fibre Optic so it doesnt matter how far away i am from the exchange. I live in a Telstra Smart Community its all fibre to the home |

| With my current modem the guy said il get 96mbps max if i want the 100 i need somthing else |

| I'm not very happy with our internet.  8mbs is alright, but for what we pay it isn't ($100 for 40 gig dl). Apparently our internet is through a sub exchange which is not equipped for ADSL 2+ even, and i messaged customer support and: ----------------------- Dear Sir/Madam, Unfortunately sub-exchanges are unable to be upgraded to receive ADSL2+. I apologise that I am unable to help you further with this. If you have any other queries, please let me know. Regards ---------------------- So that means we will probably never have anything faster than 8, unless they decide to fibre to our home?  EDIT: One thing that confuses me is that westnet says we cannot get ADSL 2+ in our area, yet i do the availability test on the bigpond website and they say ADSL 2+ is available here? |
