This is me (in the middle) on top of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

That was the first of the 7 summits I had done and I plan to do either Mt. Elbrus or Mt. Aconcagua next.

Ahh if anyone is visiting Kenya or Tanzania soon/eventually and plans to do Kilimanjaro (its difficult but worth it) I am always available for a chat

Africa is a continent, with many seperate countries that have quite different people living in them.
by scam youre thinking of the 'Nigerian' scams. doesnt apply to all of africa. Nigeria is also the most populated country in Africa, so seems more likely to have a higher number of people committing that crime, though other places did as well.

Religion is just something they take seriously, which if you actually believe in religion is what you should do. Same for countries in the middle east. thanks to the Ancestors of today's middle eastern countries, we have the foundations of math.

National borders mean very little in Africa, they were not drawn around tribal areas, they were simply a ruler on the map. That is why you can find many tribal groups spread across many different countries.

+ Africa has a shared history of suffering, a fact that has made almost every rural village and city develop the same way. Sure in some southern and eastern nations the people will hold you hostage or shoot at you or whatever, people generally don't travel to Somalia etc.

So nationality means very little when comparing how people behave across the country. But I have only been to Kenya and Tanzania so I can only go on what I know and what I saw there.

And no I don't mean Nigerian scams you ding! I mean some Masai guy selling me a 'lion's tooth' for 10 000 shillings; and then the safari guide telling me its a cow bone xP.

I don't really care about the religion, I myself am not-religious, it was just an observation about the countries which was against my liking.But it makes (a lot of the) people honest and good natured so it does have good elements

Growing up in Africa I would not say that it is a very nice place, And growing up with "native africans" i would say that its not the greatest experience either.

I did an overland safari in Africa and loved it, went through 9 countries in 5 weeks from JoBurg all the way up to Kenya. My fav place was prob Malawi, also Zanzibar was great. But really the whole continent is beautiful. The people are as Dalek said poor as hell and opressed but seem to be happy and smiling all the time. They thrive on tourists to live hence the scamming and pestering to buy shit. JoBurg was the worst and we didnt even go out at night.....is that where you grew up Illicit?
