This is total BS put a new VelociRaptor HD in the rig and ran Warhead from the original HD i installed it on and got this error...have never installed it on another PC and Wars works..have put new OS's on a few times but never moved the original Steam folder from the disk i originally installed my shit on....friggen EA site it says to go to is a load of shit also.....anyone know what the fuck i need to do to get this workn?

Easy. Just email EA at easupport@8-bit.com.au and tell them that uve only used ur cd key once and u get the error. Then send in a pic of ur warhead disc. They will then be fucking stupid enough to send u a new one. Re-install, put in ur new key and sell it once ur done.

its steam version......does this still work? i dont wanna re dl the whole friggen game again on steam ffs.....just sent an emal off to em anyways!

yea i got that as well :S just emailed Ea with my steam code for warhead and they increased the limit.

Just right click on your Warhead icon in steam and click on register. It will take you to EA and you will need to log in or create a account. They responded the same day which was impressive for EA.

This is why Crytek released the revoke tool

Every time you install Steam on the new OS i assume it re-activates all the games so they can be played properly. It's gotta write all the info the registry, etc.

um.....this seems very odd.....u shouldn't have to contact ea at all....they really have little say in what has happened i've installed my warhead many times on many harddrives in different os's and i have never had this problem....need to go into ur registary, thats where the problem lies

....if u didn't re download the game......ur cdkey may not of been implimented properly as it is the first thing steam downloads before any of the real data.....so if steam showed that u had all the data it may not of downloaded and implimented the new cd key into ur registary......
i thought that u where with internode????......if so just pick one of there servers in steam as ur download source and commence downloading as it shouldn't contribute to ur limit....
OR try this one (much easyer)
MOVE ur warhead directory to somewhere else on ur hard drive THEN open steam.....let it download for a few mins....close it ENTIRELY.....place the warhead back to where it cam from....re-open steam and let it finish off its download and u should be allright
and if not i've got like 35 cdkeys for u that work even on multiplayer

the patch 1.1 removes all that licence shit, good on crytek, maybe it doesnt update properly through steam tho not sure about that
