| Hi ya, Had fun creating this map and thought it worthy that I give something to the community. I've recently finished a PS map and was wondering if it could be put in rotation one night? This spawned from wanting something different in a map from the usual. Initially the idea with this map was to focus game play in a more linear style, a race to the proto! The point of this linear style progression was to include multiple chokepoints along the way (easy to bypass) where it was geographical advantageous to the attackers whom would respwan and perform regrouped attacks. | um yeah very good looking map but it needs alot of fixes if u would like some pointers altho nobody wants to hear them, i'll gladly give u a few, as i think atleast 10 changes need to be attended to in order for it to be completly playable. But i have to say it looks fucking sweet, better than original mesa, nice work man |

Looks alright.. but we've had maps similar to this. Game play was very slow. |

| ok well a few things are.....there is only 1 air factory, and the proto is far away if 1 team had both and the percentage of the area around the proto, it would turn into base rape. ....u can walk under all rivers as u didn't set the depth to the right amount. ..... the bases are very close together....abd the proto is more than 1km away....no way in hell anyone will be able to nuke (if u had a base up each end and proto in middle, i think it would be better) ....the map is done wrong.....its in the wrong location ....parts of terrain need to be covered over to fill in holes and shut off areas that look like ur ment to go there....near the air factory .....there is a platform set up inbetween bases that seems to be very high so people can shoot into both bases if they had a spawn vehicle up there ....etc |

| Thanks vncnRPL, will be making some tweeks shortly along with some others. I've also been worried about balance and base raping ... the air factory was put away from the proto so if one team was holding the proto then it would hopefully mean that the other team would have easier time getting the air factory and advance quickly up the map ... just hope it works out that way The platform was put up there to aid the end game. I envisioned it quite hard for finish with a TAC Tank so changed to a smaller proto factory to get the tac gun. The idea was to add another scenario on how to end the game because I thought it initially was going to be hard to do so without. I do concede that if each team had an air factory (not shootable from platform) it would be easier/quicker to progress up the map, perhaps i will change that. Anyone second that motion? |

| Updated the map. Available from edrok.com
Change log;
* Removed Ladder near small silo. * Corrected floating pier bollards. * Fixed terrain height around garage. * Removed and replaced small silo to fix glitch. * Filled hole near large rock at proto. * New miniMap. * Removed veg in garage. * Updated loadscreen. * Increased river depth.
To do : fix breakable fences & barriers. I had copied these items from other MP levels so not sure how to fix this easily. |

| Hey mate im having a looksie at your map now and i really think you should add another road going to the proto.. It's just like this massive line towards the proto which i get its the objective but by the time you get about half way your stuffed.. Same with the bunker behind it..
Basically to me it just feels like this long massive road.. Its an awesome map but like i said.. just one big long road.
also on the white boat near the energy site at E2 the top of it you can walk straight through the bars etc |

| I don't think I can do anything about the bars on the boat being a predefined brush. EDIT/ Just checked the other boat you cant walk through the railings, will swap em tomorrow. Nice find btw. Yup it is one long road, although you could boat you way up it. Alternatively there is another road on the far side of the river that goes two thirds of the way up. Not nearly as fast but it could be streamlined. I did also consider putting in some caverns/tunnels leading from 2nd alien power to proto area but I wanted to concentrate battles. If gameplay is too unbalanced I'll readdress this. cheers for the comments, keep em coming. Only with feedback can this be improved |
