Official specs have not been released but on unofficial spec has been given that indicates they (GPG/Squareenix) hope a 2 year old computer with a new graphics card will play perfectly, this was quoted by chris taylor as he showcased an alpha version of the engine on the mentioned computer.

They have even mentioned that further into engine development they hope to be able to extend that to maybe even a 4 year old computer, there is said to be less polygons on screen compared to the original SC and a bunch of new software and hardware tweaks that will lessen the burden against computers.
