well to try and explaine the game a lil more (DESSI can explaine more coz he know much more about the game then any of us), u start off with a ship, ur first goal is to aquire skills, skills to operate weapons and machinery, sych as missiles, gunnery, defence systems, mining, skills to operate bigger battleships and other ships etc... all this takes alot of time as it is played in real time live hours, for example - to aquire say the skill to operate rocket luanchers, certicate 1 might take 1 hr, and then certifcate 2 might take 5 hrs and so on, but those 5 hours in game r 5 hourse in real life, so it takes alot of time to get ur shit up and running, however in the mean time while u wait u can shut the game down or speak to agents who send u on missions, at the end of a completed mission u get paid for ur trouble and u recieve bonus. money is required to purchase the basic skill u want to learn and also to buy all ur weapons and ships. we have had a jump in the game thx to lilboots getting us m,oney from some1 he know so we were able to purchase alot of skills and get them up to get our certificates which allowed us to get a lil head start. while u r in play u can start ur own corperation and have ur own big team ( SAY TO SPEAK, PRESIDENT OR RUN UR OWN PIRATE CORPERATION who go around and b stains, rob others and destroy them. but the annoying part of the game is if ur ship gets destroyed and u dont have enough money then u will loose all ur skills and need to start ur skills again but u can make a clone, so if u get killed u wont need to start ur skills from the start again.
other then how long the game takes u actually get hooked, yes it is similar to wow but theres no magic and shit, the way u play is heeps more interestingl.
i reccomend u trial the game and see how u go.
send a PM to my self or boots and we will send u guys and invite which will give u 21 day trial instead of 14 days.
i have 2 invites left and boots has 3, not sure about dessi and napster as i have already given napster a invite.
see how u go and let us know
Cheers sgtkillerFTW

i think its 15 monthly, from wat i remember but you will get hooked in a trail, lets say this, i would punch the next guy who asks me to pplay WoW i hate it that much, but this game got me hooked.

if you could design your own ships i MIGHT be interested but seeing as your locked to whatever ships your species/culture/clan can get the plans to.. pass... another money stealing mmo timewasting scam. Jumpgate will kick its ass (coz you will actually have to do something).

depends
i get the justification for an MMO for monthly fees, and i see how the capitalism as well as practicality of monthly payments = monthly use, and not amount of days of usage.
but after a while you realise it takes alot of time to play these games and sometimes there are other things you should be doing.
i played WoW, it was fun i had no idea what i was doing, quit, came back for BC (first expansion) played longer but quit before reaching even the old end game content. came back again for Wotlk, got to end game content, played a bit, continually trolled, and then quit when i realised i had better things to do.
but $15 a month really isnt that much. ive probably donated more to the FTW server than i spent on WoW..

yes your right but since WoW has been up the host company blizzard entertainment started off and most went bankrupt, now there company is worth over 1.84 billions bucks, now the most successful gaming studio in the world. bit of a fact for you there sweety.
so all can say is by the time you spend the amount for a full game it will be a year of subscriptions or ya.

one example of the worst parenting i have seen is a woman leaving her baby in a stroller in the middle of the mall and walking 20 metres away into a shop to look at fucking shoes. she was in the shop for 10 minutes. i know because me and friends counted and looked out for the kid and if anyone so much tried to make off with it, we'd have given them a beating.
then i abused her for being an irresponsible parent. clearly she didn't deserve kids.

nope
and this is the big mall thats actually a street in the center of town. with the big steel balls.
i see bad parenting alot especially when im out. i also see bad examples of all kinds of human behaviour.. bleh.
.. BACK ON TOPIC
a steep learning curve on an MMO that takes REAL TIME to progress is a perfect reason not to play it. if it takes REAL TIME you dont wanna waste any more time than you have too.

You can fly ANY ship in the game if you so choose, your not limited by anything apart from your learnt skills. I just purchased all the skills required to be a caldari elite soldier, flyin around in my cruiser shooting heavy assault missiles and cannons at any freak that comes close. Should take awhile to get there but once I do.....

oh yea dog, it doesn't take REAL TIME to progress, your skills learn in real time...meaning you dont even have to be playing the game and your skills are leveling up while your at work/asleep/wanking/staring at the wall or all the above at once....work that out lol

yeah i know you dont have to be there 24/7
but clearly you have to wait for this stuff to happen. it just draws the game out.

it'd be rad if WoW gold developed interest when you stuck it in your bank. i'd be hella rich because ive had an account for so long but never touch it.
then i could sell it for REAL DOLLARS and be a zillionaire

i think you can get it to gain interest but the conversion back to real money isn't good enough to bother. If you were hardcore about it its worth it... ive got a mate who has played for years and has a few lvl70 necros and one of the most powerful in the world and its worth like at least 6k i think?

got my cash to eve online last night, got my skills rolling again which is awesome got over 900,000 SP now and just remapped my skills to improve me learning speed, you boys should do that too.
Just go to attributes under character, select the attributes tab and down the bottom is remap, do this and max out your memory first then intelligience and that will allow you to cut heaps of time off learning. Only do this to max out your learning skills and once all of em are at 5 you can remap again to improve your other skills.
(Warning: Your only allowed 2 remaps every 7 months)
