| Looking for a realy good water cooling kit that will fit a Antec 900 case. and not be external at or just a home made with radiator. Was thinking about taking out my DVD rom and using the bays just for cooling. |

| i don't get why any of you use watercooling. I can push high 3's on my 920 with air cooling without getting near 40degrees. |

| Check out Koolance.com (been using them for six years now). They have two add-on kits you can mod your case for and make it a perm water cooled kit. |

| Hmm i agree with trae. Unless you're pushing huge clocks on the board/CPU, you don't need it, and when you do get WC you have to get the really good shit in order for it to compete against top end air cooling for 1/10th the price. /shrug Should be able to hit 4GHz on a D0 920 with air cooling. Eva can get his to 4.4GHz on air with HT enabled: http://i4memory.com/111898-post6.html |

| AIR cooling is ok... it works. Water cooling is more expensive, but you get what you pay for... My PC room is silent and I have four machines running 24/7. 3 are watercooled and you can't hear them... The fourth is just a server and needs nothing super high end that requires loud ass big fans. You could even go totally passive, but then you have this 5 kg fucking heat sink sitting on your CPU and you have to wonder... If I stand my tower up will it rip my mobo off the case?
Did I mention WC is SILENT? I have mine running at full fan speed right now just because of the recent pump failure, but even it is quieter than the stock fans that came on my GTX285 SSC's. |
