either you or your dad should be claiming it on tax too so you get Krudd to give you back some real $$$ so long as you or your dad is working. That should sweeten the deal a little more and I can only assume you are already claining the cost of your internet connection. Dunno what % you should claim, but certainly speak to your tax accountant about that too.

$202 for a 320GB HDD??? Is that for three of them or something? Don't waste your money on an "Enterprise" drive. For that amount of money you can get two WD 640GB drives which will run much quicker.

You also don't need a 1000w PSU. That system would use around 400-500w under 100% total system load, so you're in excess of 50% headroom, which is heaps. If you're going to tri-SLI then yeah, keep the 1000w. But a 650w would do you fine, for 2/3rd's the cost.

Have you checked to see if the soundcard will fit with all those video cards?

fuck the sound card. and no way it will fit.

fuck more then 1 video card. think they are going to sell for anything when they are outdated? better off with a flagship card and going dual and tri with it down the track.

and my rig is a bit of a beast and i run a 750 wat psu and i struggle to ask for 500 when its flooring it.

do away with the sound card, ram cooler (WTF) and cpu cooler and fan and go to liquid cooling if you really want to overclock, otherwise dont bother about that because the stock cooler is fine.

Also if you want really good hard drive performance, get 2 300GB WD velociraptors (theyre the fastest mechanical hard drives made) in RAID0, that will give u lighting fast hard drive spped (around 500-600MB/sec) and 600GB of storage.

get an ASUS P6T motherboard it is the fastest i7 one out and also cheaper than the gigabyte one

also do you really need blu-ray. Get faster hard drives (like I said, 2 velociraptors in RAID0) for that price

want the gigabyte one cos it is able to tri-sli and still get space for soundcard unlike p6t.
raptors are like 300 for a 300gb so thats a no no.

I think it still might happen in a GTX 295 because it is stil SLI but it seems that it manily happens with crossfire because most people dont run the with the same type of card when in crossfire .

Upcoming graphics driver could provide the necessary balancing

with a 295 by itself i get no microstutter or lag, i get a bottleneck and a fps drop but i think its my ram. 295 with NO other cooling plays crysis wars at 50-60fps (with vsync so probably higher) at max all max AA.

tri-sli is fucking stupid. I stuck a raid card in my other slot and it was totally worth it.

the 295 barely even heats up.

but it gets loud.

I suggest 2 8500gt's with a pencil volt mod, this will allow you to play on minimum settings for upto 30 minutes before your system crashes.

Never pencil volt mod, you wil never be able to get accurate vtoltage the u want and lead as most people knw has a low melting point so if it get a bit to hot it will just melt away and you will have to pencil volt your resistor again, not recomened rather flash ur bios

its more reliable, faster, less cpu taxing and probably as cheap to get a single WD velociraptor as your hard drive rather than 2 generic ones in RAID0, thats the mistake I made, i reckon you cant beat 2 of them in RAID0 unless you look at getting SSD hard drives

if you want to work on hard drives like that, i (seriously) recommend a SSD for OS and drivers, then RAID0 hard drives for non-essential programs like crysis and files and crap

Wasting your money getting that SSD drive. Anything other than an OCZ Vertex or Intel X25M are, without exagurating, shit. There's a reason it's so cheap, because you'd be better off with a mechanical drive for half the price and 10 times the storage. Spend the extra $100 on a Vertex drive and you'll be far better off.

$600 for that board seems a bit excessive. Are you planning on breaking any world O/C records? If not, don't waste your money.

Fucking Blue ray... It only beat hddvd in the format wars because after 2 drinks you cant even say fucking hddvd you end saying vd and laughing alot.

Anyway get a ps3 if you want a blue ray player, it is a good player and comes with a bonus gaming console.

If you are one of the dumb cunts that bought a 1080p tv and thought digital tv and dvd's were high def you are a fucking horsecat.

Blue ray is the only fucking way to watch dvd at 1080p period!

So get fucked you load of low tech dumb fucking CUNTS! final!

Unless you spend several hundred on decent, proper WC gear then aircooling is generally better.

you mean: "we're" as in 'we are'

you should totally make your computer case water tight, put a fan in it and fill it up with canola oil and let the fan circulate the oil around - cheap effective cooling for ALL the computer components. completely safe too.

ok almost certianly getting a P6T just one more question. im a noob when it comes to picking a board
and overclocking cpu, will i be able to have a 920 at 3.6 atleast stable on that board? as it seems a little cheap for overclocking

overclocking ends up trial and error alot of the time, what level of speed you end up achieving will depend on your entire system config
