look at getting the ASUS p6T motherboard instead, its the best one you can get in that price range and really good value also make sure you set up your hard drives in RAID0, you'll still get the combined 1GB and it will run twice as fast

In my experiance gigabyte make the worst motherboards out there. everying single one ive bought over the years has fucked up one way or another. Good motherboard brands are Asus, XFX, Evga and DFI but DFI mainly make boards for AMD cpus now. _________________ Don't move! It makes it sooo much easier to shoot your face!

Yea not a big fan on Gigabyte just never really liked em. DFI was my favorite so you could look at DFI X58 for I7 that should do well for ya. Have a look at EVGA X58 boards, they have some nice boards that are at a good price. Good luck with the build mate post some pics up when you build is complete. _________________

My gigabyte motherboards have all been good, no problem overclocking and never any issues. They dont look as good as others but who gives a fuck. If your after a cheaper case that works really well, have a look at the coolermaster rc 690 / cm690. Have fun with the build!

Not shure what all you people need core i7s for, but if it tickles your fancy i say go for it. As for the PSU dont think that a 750 - 800w psu will be enough to run 2x 295 in sli, and once you get it u will want to overclock it. If you are only going to use 2 pci-e x16 slots you might also wanna take a look at core i5 mother board and cpu, not far behind a core i7 in 3d mark vantage and a core i5 with 16 phase power desing for better overclocking. But again the choice is yours. _________________
