Cool ! I discovered I have 2 NVidia GT8800's in sli for the first time when I opened up my antec 900 case last weekend without even breaking a nail !
I didn't know what Pauline got me to buy and I've never seen the inside of my black box before but it looks nice lots of pretty blue lights. The only reason I brought it.
I would be lost without her ! Next will be my attempt at installing windows 7 with Pauline's ever so valuable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year life time PC support.

Whats the performance improvement there dessie? Im using win 7 build 7000 atm, but in a few days ill be using build 7100 as soon as it and a crack comes out for it.

The ATI mythology is simple, the card will overheat and die well before you can even think about blaming the driver or the os..

The windows 98 driver even works for leopard.

thanks cosmic for this thread. I have finally installed the windows 7 7100 RC and my graphics card drivers won't install from disk, so your thread is a godsend.

Fuck man i can't run dual screens on the beta drivers, but the 185's are LAGGY AS SHIT.. when i right click the desktop i have a delay and everything just seems slower... but i can run dual screens... argh anyone got a clue???

try out the vista drivers for your graphics card they still work on win7

Yeah, my PC lags so bad in FTW but I get pings of like 30+
I have a q6600 cpu, 2GB ram, 2 x GT8800 in SLI
I max everything on the settings but have that anti aliasing and that anisotrpic filter set to off
Under XP it never lagged, like wtf...?

does the vist drivers fix it ?

The windows 98 drivers coupled with the new Leopard x86 driver definitely fix it!

Or you could just throw away that nvidia shit and get an ati card!
