PostSubject: Razer Megalodon Issue   Thu Oct 28, 2010 4:41 pm

Hey guys I've had the Razer Megalodon for a good time and recently I realised that the LED's in the ear-cups aren't working anymore. I've tried to plug up to other computers and other USB ports and so on so forth and recently did a firmware update and that fixed other bugs. It's pretty unusual for LES's to die like that as they have a really long life span, but as we know things may go wrong. The other LED's on the controller all work fine except the ear-cup ones, so if anyone knows how to fix this issue or something it would be much appreciated. Smile

makes me believe a wire went broke - did the sound stop with the LED?

Well the thing is the wire is perfect and the sound never breaks up. My guess atm is that the LED's are actually dead because they both stopped at the same time, but to be 100% if they are or not I may need to try some other stuff to see what is actually up, even though I maintain them very well and keep it in a safe spot this happens Sad.

Yeah might have to, well its only the ear cup LED's like there is no problem with them they work perfectly fine when talking about the sound and the control panel all those LED's work fine. I'm just thinking the LED's in the ear-cups might be shitty ones that last fuck all.
