| Nice find, the trailer's certainly impressive, but I doubt I'll play it if it doesn't stay true to vanilla Deus Ex. Somehow I doubt it will live up to the series, simply because it has its original to beat. |

| nice when a game tackles the ethics of humanity's future rather than mutant or alien threats, should be a good story line nice if the gameplay matches... |

| I doubt I could ever make myself play a remake of DE1. One of the things that makes it so classic to me is the fact the first games I ever played were of the same graphical era. I'd rather not give up the nostalgia, and even watching this trailer it seems odd because it's so different. |

| Seeing as the character you play in DE1 IS Denton, i think that would be a good guess. If my memory serves me correctly there was something about Denton's parents in the final level of DE1, yes? |

| This looks awesome, i was a fan of the first Deus Ex. As a teenager back then i would spended so many hours playing it differently. Though always finishing with the helios merging since i though was the easiest way to do it Second one was shit it was such a letdown, i hope they learn their mistakes from the second one, for one every game made into console and the ported to PC always turns up shit. _________________ Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.-Albert Einstein

| And it's not just the graphics, there's no way this will "shit on crysis" when all I see is the trashing of immersion, something this game should have so much of. With things like too much 3rd person, such as the crappy cover system. It doesn't suit this game. It's these kinds of things that are designed for consoles. Things that take away from the depth, complexity, and the potential to feel that you are actually in a different world. I want to be a character when playing, with as much open and flexible gameplay as the game can offer, not watch the character do stuff, that's what movies are for. Until we see some gameplay that isn't the same old stuff other games are pumping out I won't be looking forward to this or other next gen games. |

| And going by that trailer the graphics look awful im hoping that is a trailer made from console, if pc then that is no where near what pc can handle for todays standard. _________________ sErBz wrote: Lol nah since I was 18 my name is never on the electoral role. Almost everything in this reminds me of Mass Effect 2.. Doubt it will be as good as ME2 or the upcoming ME3 though. And i dont see how this would be better than Crysis, Crysis graphics are way more impressive. Still should be an interesting play, looking foward to this. |

BS it does. It looks like they just washed everything with a sepia tone. And we all know that that is hardly an accurate Crysis 2 screen lol
But it's not the graphics in question for me on either of the games. It's gameplay that worries me for both, though I was disappointed a heap more when first seeing Deus Ex gameplay because it looked immediately like it was made to fit consoles even more than Crysis 2 might be. Cuts to 3rd person in this type of game, come on. A proper version would let you deal with how you use your space, can people no longer walk up to a wall and hide by themselves, instead of being sucked to it and thrown out of the flow of the game? I hate that that is the type of mechanic this game would turn to. To me it's like taking away control to do the maneuvering myself. We can't really feel the fight up close with melee either if it has to zap us out to 3rd person, (looks like it always will) taking us away from slashing at things for ourselves. Are so many games being dumbed down almost solely because we have simpleton consoles to cater for? Seems like it : (
It's really frustrating because the game has or had so much potential to be amazing from the get go with its story, themes and possible gameplay. |

| Crysis 2 has no chance against Dues EX 3 in the graphics department _________________ sErBz wrote: Lol nah since I was 18 my name is never on the electoral role. I win this year! For this we have videos with snippets of gameplay to go by anyway, and I was just wishing for better, is there anything much amazing yet? Man my heart did sink when first seeing footage after the amazing cgi. |
