Nice find, the trailer's certainly impressive, but I doubt I'll play it if it doesn't stay true to vanilla Deus Ex. Somehow I doubt it will live up to the series, simply because it has its original to beat.

I doubt I could ever make myself play a remake of DE1. One of the things that makes it so classic to me is the fact the first games I ever played were of the same graphical era. I'd rather not give up the nostalgia, and even watching this trailer it seems odd because it's so different.

This looks awesome, i was a fan of the first Deus Ex. As a teenager back then i would spended so many hours playing it differently. Though always finishing with the helios merging since i though was the easiest way to do it

Second one was shit it was such a letdown, i hope they learn their mistakes from the second one, for one every game made into console and the ported to PC always turns up shit.

the gfx for this are awesome.. and the creativity in the weapon designs... this will shit on crysis. you can never go by a screenshot for graphics

it needs some AA desperately....and the texture for the have is very shit

And it's not just the graphics, there's no way this will "shit on crysis" when all I see is the trashing of immersion, something this game should have so much of. With things like too much 3rd person, such as the crappy cover system. It doesn't suit this game.
It's these kinds of things that are designed for consoles. Things that take away from the depth, complexity, and the potential to feel that you are actually in a different world.
I want to be a character when playing, with as much open and flexible gameplay as the game can offer, not watch the character do stuff, that's what movies are for.
Until we see some gameplay that isn't the same old stuff other games are pumping out I won't be looking forward to this or other next gen games.

And going by that trailer the graphics look awful im hoping that is a trailer made from console, if pc then that is no where near what pc can handle for todays standard.
